Marketing Content Specialist

Overview

BigBear.ai, a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions, is seeking a creative and results-oriented Marketing Content Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and executing our social media strategy across LinkedIn, Twitter, and various other social media platforms, while also contributing to the creation of engaging content for our blog, email marketing efforts, and other marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for crafting compelling content that educates and informs our target audience about the power of AI in national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media platforms, including content calendar creation, post scheduling, and community management

• Conduct research and write informative and engaging social media posts, blog articles, and graphics to promote BigBear.ai's solutions and industry thought leadership

• Manage email marketing deployment, including content creation, segmentation, and A/B testing

• Track and analyze the performance of all content marketing efforts (website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates, click-through rates, lead generation, etc.)

• Generate reports and identify areas for improvement in the content marketing strategy

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and social media best practices

• Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns

• Create visually appealing graphics and infographics to support social media and blog content

• Edit and optimize existing video content for social media purposes

What you need to have

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

• 2-3 years of experience in content marketing or social media management

• Proven ability to create engaging and informative written content

• Strong understanding of social media marketing principles and best practices, particularly for LinkedIn and Twitter

• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) is a plus

• Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret data from various sources (website analytics, social media platforms, email marketing platforms)

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills

• A passion for AI and its potential applications

• A strong understanding of B2B and B2G marketing

What we'd like you to have

• 5+ years of marketing experience is desired

• Experience creating infographics or other visual content

• Video editing experience

• Knowledge of SEO best practices
