We are seeking a Marketing Content Associate with 3-7 years of experience to join Silicon Valley Bank's Marketing Activation team focused on supporting the development and operationalization of the content practice across the SVB business. This position will be responsible for assisting in the development of the process for the creation and distribution of high-quality content across the entire SVB enterprise including editorial, design, operating model, content technology and content measurement.

The Content Associate will be a valued contributor to ensuring that all SVB content is aligned to business strategies and goals, following the content practices for marketing. This role will work closely with content governance leaders and Content Champions across SVB business units This position reports to the Director, Marketing Activation and will be responsible for supporting the operationalization process across all communications media including brand and product communications, thought leadership, blogs, social media, the web, prospect & customer communications and event communications.

Specific Responsibilities Include

  • Content Quality

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of an editorial calendar and content that supports long-term relationship building and cross sell strategies

  • Editorial alignment: Monitor to ensure content development and distribution is contextually relevant to drive action among SVB's core client segments and personas across their lifecycle with SVB

  • Follow and enforce SVB's brand and editorial style guidelines to ensure adherence to best practice guidelines across people, processes and technology

  • Develop guiding best practices fo BU leads and core functional departments in creating best practice, engaging content that drives KPIs

  • Content Operating Model & Content Technology

  • Find opportunities to streamline workflows, and measure SLAs

  • Identify and assist in developing tools, templates, and technology solutions that assist with content workflow

  • Support the rollout of content operations and workflow processes across the organization

  • Work with activation teams to optimize distribution

  • Engage with corporate marketing functions to extend content distribution to internal and external channels; content syndication, PR and internal communications

  • Help define and develop effective education and training for all existing content creators, content champions and new hires across marketing, sales, PR and executive leadership

  • Analyze ongoing content performance and user engagement metrics to continuously optimize content strategy

  • Accountable for content KPI reporting

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 3-7 years' experience in marketing, brand and/or editorial experience

  • Demonstrated success in supporting content marketing programs

  • Experience developing content that maps to personas and client journeys is a plus

  • Must be a U.S citizen or authorized to work in the U.S on a permanent basis

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines

  • Strong project management skills and ability to work across multiple teams

  • Content development project management experience workflow, process and distribution

  • Experience using Marketo (automated email software) for email campaigns a plus

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong PC skills with proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills

  • Consistent, proactive and prompt follow through

  • Highly collaborative work style

  • Must be a team player, yet self-motivated and reliable
