Works hand in hand with Marketing Communications Senior Manager to develop content for use across various external and internal platforms that support the firm’s strategic direction and aligns with practice objectives.
Drafts and edits a wide range of copy to develop messaging, collateral, ads, draft press releases, biographies, develop award and ranking submissions, among other strategic communications projects.
Uses the project management tool Asana to track MarComm project details, tasks, and timelines to ensure appropriate coordination with Marketing colleagues, stakeholders and to ensure important deadlines are met.
Helps to manage the awards and rankings process, monitoring for and flagging deadlines, new award opportunities, etc., and assisting with drafting or overseeing PR agency drafting of award submissions.
Helps to shape and execute on the firm’s social media strategy by drafting, planning and posting content on a regular basis.
Composes and posts content on the firm’s website and intranet as needed. Assists with monthly reporting of social media metrics and provides recommendations for improvement based on trending analytics.
Promotes and supports firm events, webinars, speaking engagements and conferences by drafting or editing web posts, invitations, speaking proposals and program content including bios, firm descriptions and ads. Ensures branding and style consistency throughout marketing collateral, both in print and online. All firm communications should adhere to the firm’s style guide and best industry practices.
Provides media relations support as needed, including media lists, pitching and monitoring for mentions.
Collaborates with marketing, attorneys and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required
4+ years of experience working within a law firm within their marketing department
