We are currently looking to hire a Marketing Communications Manager supporting our ERP & Schools line of products.
The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for helping to determine vertical marketing strategy, and for the management of all aspects of multi-faceted marketing projects and campaigns for the assigned vertical and product lines. Responsibilities include turning business objectives into marketing strategy and tactics by conducting research, developing comprehensive content, and analyzing metrics. Collaboration with various marketing shared service functions, as well sales and other division leadership, is important to the Marketing Communications Manager's ability to succeed.

Manage all aspects of multi-faceted marketing projects and campaigns including direct mail, web-programs, collateral development, and event promotion and coordination.
Execute against division marketing plan and strategic tactics as outlined by Executive Leadership, VPs of Sales, and vertical Marketing Director.
Develop content for various marketing collateral pieces including product fact sheets, brochures, case studies, newsletter articles, advertising and other material as requested by the vertical Marketing Director.
Obtain product or service information by interviewing or requesting such information from necessary parties including internal division subject matter experts, or clients.
Develop innovative ways to communicate marketing message - including via direct mail, email, web, video, and at trade shows and events.
Collaborate closely with corporate marketing shared services departments, such as brand management, content management, and campaign management to manage the production and execution of marketing projects and campaigns.
Analyze metrics and results from marketing programs and provide ROI reports to vertical Marketing Director.
Maintain brand standards in all aspects of marketing projects.
Ensure marketing messaging is consistent and drives the key messages in an impactful way.
Oversee marketing staff as applicable.
Aid in the continuing development of staff members and provide ongoing guidance, training, and direction in achieving the team and company objectives.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable work experience
10-12 years marketing experience in a business to business or business to government environment
Strong writing skills and the ability to generate impactful marketing messages is required, demonstrated through writing samples and references
Technology/software industry experience required; public sector experience preferred
Experience effectively managing a variety of marketing projects and timelines
Experience managing a variety of direct marketing, video, advertising, collateral creation, and web content projects required
Trade show and or user conference experience preferred
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and especially PowerPoint)
Experience in a leadership or management role a plus
An excellent understanding of graphic applications, image/media files, web media/interactive marketing, etc.
