DLL is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team who enjoys collaboration, is innately curious and is not afraid of a good debate. The person who is successful in this role will see themselves as a success driver and key member of a team focused on developing and delivering solutions to customer and manufacturer problems across all of DLL's industry verticals.

The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing Marketing and Communication (MarCom) strategies, activities and tools. This role will contribute to the realization of Pay-per-use Solutions business objectives by shaping the message to internal and external audiences, based upon learnings and feedback from customers, manufacturers, and internal partners. The Marketing and Communications Manager will be a key member of an agile, cross-functional product team, deeply engaged in the development and deployment of innovative solutions to a variety of industries across a focused set of countries.

Day to Day

  • Actively partner in the continuing development and refinement of the Pay-per-use team's vision, mission, and strategy, as a key member of the Global Management Team.

  • Create and implement the overall Pay-per-use Marketing strategy, especially the Marketing and Communication elements (including budgets and execution). These elements include, but are not limited to:

  • Stakeholder management and internal communications; including quarterly stakeholder reports

  • Thought leadership in the areas of usage, servitization and sustainability;

  • Sales enablement materials such as marketing collateral, social media, pitch materials, customer workshops, success stories

  • External communications processes (including PR) and materials, liaising with relevant internal departments / stakeholders

  • Internal communications processes and materials for Pay-per-use and Customer Products & Solutions group, liaising with relevant internal departments / stakeholders

  • Lead and manage advertising campaigns according to Marketing plan, liaise with external agencies, ensure the execution of the campaign, monitor progress, and evaluate the results and impact.

  • Inform, advise, and support Pay-per-use Solutions concerning all MarCom related matters, including member meetings, presentation / story design, new media and styling of communication.

  • Create inspiring content through a story-telling approach in cooperation with the commercial teams and clients.

  • Contribute to planning and organizing customer events, including event selection, budgeting, and evaluation, in line with the Marketing plan.

  • Create periodic overviews of outlook for MarCom activities, performance against KPIs and budget, and report out to the business.

Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree in business or Marketing, or relevant professional experience

  • Minimum 5 years marketing and communications experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the Finance B2B or similar industry

  • Experience in internal and external communications, thought leadership, social media, omni-channel marketing campaigns, and sales support materials

  • Product marketing and/or development experience is a plus

  • Open minded, creative, 'out of the box' thinking

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, and proven ability to work as a part of a cross-functional team

  • Skilled writer capable of crafting compelling content for various marketing and communication channels

  • Experience of working based on agile and scrum principles is a plus

  • International mindset or experience

  • Flexible and open to change of direction and scope of the role

  • Ability to solve challenges as they arise and secure support in a networked organization

  • Ability to influence senior management and c-suite

  • Desire to learn and grow

  • Good sparring partner

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro)

Applicable pay range

$88,996.19 - $133,494.28

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL's compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
