Guardian Industries is seeking you to become our next Marketing Communications Manager in Troy, Michigan!
A Day In The Life Typically Includes
This position will help position the company as a preferred partner in the mobility industry. He / She will establish and implement a strategic marketing plan to capitalize on market opportunities, build brand awareness and effectively tell the company and new solutions stories. This role reports to the Global Marketing & Communications Director.
Drive quarterly and annual marketing strategy and portfolio planning. Plan to include brand strategy and multi-channel promotional media plans for new and existing technologies and products, including event planning and coordination in the customer.
Drive market and product requirements through customer-focused product development processes to ensure successful OEM adoption and commercialization globally
Drive marketing deliverables to support branding, product marketing and PR strategies that strengthens the SRG Global brand to increase industry visibility.
Promote marketing execution by driving internal communications, trainings, and programs that inform employees of our successes across the company
Support OEM integration and product development process with targeted customer presentations
Drive OEM engagement and brand awareness through coordination of tech shows and events
Execute product branding strategy and media planning for new products to include product naming, brand mark development and trademark management globally
Progress the comprehensive strategic integrated marketing communication plan align to corporate communications team plan. Plan to include web/digital, Social Media, PR, key events, advertising as well as the development of collateral
Write persuasive marketing copy for a wide variety of sales and corporate communications pieces aligned to product branding strategies, company messaging and editorial framework
Develop technical pieces that adhere to the industry and company brand guidelines.
Create publication articles, technical papers and scripts, media content, etc.
Manage communications channels & platforms (intranet sites, enterprise social media channels, video streaming, etc.)
Build strong collaborative working relationships with SRG Global Europe and Asia Pacific marketing links and parent company Guardian Industries Communication team supporting and implementing corporate initiatives
Manage and build upon our current brand guidelines and messages to effectively communicate what our brand stands for and generate excitement with internal and external stakeholders about what SRG Global is doing and building
Assist with the development and coordination of all marketing materials in keeping with our corporate brand. Responsible for the relevancy, appearance and accuracy of all print materials and works with IT team to communicate necessary updates and ensure accuracy of online materials
Manage creative asset library to ensure relevancy, compliance and improve accessibility, including head office displays.
Provides ongoing feedback as it pertains to asset utilization, effectiveness, performance, and areas for improvement
Drive branding consistency and adoption globally through continued development of Brand Support Specialist network. Provides regions with regular and relevant updates, keep them current on latest assets, upcoming brand and product campaigns
Measure brand awareness, adoption and perception by building our brand tracker, so we have clear, actionable data and feedback to evaluate past campaigns and inform future initiatives
Lead end-to-end brand marketing campaigns or other campaigns, including customer research, audience and messaging, brief development, creative development, production and distribution
Execute on those campaigns, communicating updates to stakeholders, optimize and track success metrics along the way
What You Will Need?
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a degree related to Business with marketing experience
5+ years with excellent track record of success
Experience using Google Spreadsheets, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, social media platforms, SEO
Agency experience highly desired
