We are seeking a talented and knowledgeable Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team. The primary responsibility is to provide support across the communication functions of the organization. This position can be based out of Tulsa or Oklahoma City.
We accomplish our mission through professional staffing service contracts, primarily with public agencies as we work to build private sector partnerships. . Vice President of Marketing & Communications
Supports: Internal and External Communications, Marketing, with a Focus on Digital Strategies
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Draft communications, inclusive of traditional and non-traditional media
Work closely with the Vice President of Marketing and Communications to prepare speeches, presentations, and other collateral material for both internal and external audiences
Support communications planning and strategy development
Primary responsibility for Galt digital platforms
Collaborate with internal creative team on messaging for digital media
Manage and support the stakeholder engagement plan.
Organize and participate in meetings with disability thought-leaders, research to find new partners and opportunities
Remain abreast of news and opportunities relevant to Galt programs, the disability community, employment trends, corporate social responsibility, and philanthropy
Efficiently manage new or unplanned projects with agility and flexibility as they arise
The position supports the entire organization. The position supports the development and implementation of Galts identity, brand, and messaging
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
The position calls for a highly organized individual with excellent project management, writing and critical thinking skills.
The Manager should exhibit a commitment to the mission of Galt and ideally possess the following professional qualifications and personal attributes with a demonstrated ability in each area:
Strong interpersonal skills to manage a broad range of relationships with care
Strong, demonstrated writing skills, with a focus on story development
Ability to absorb high volume of information from a variety of sources and to synthesize the key elements
Ability to be proactive and anticipate needs; a self-starter
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, knowing how to prioritize and adjust timetables based on demand and circumstances
Understanding of and experience in driving content for various communication channels, both traditional and non-traditional, with a strong focus on social media
Sensitivity and respect for the diversity of Galt, its employees, and constituencies
Willingness to travel occasionally
Minimum of 3 years work experience in a related field
The position holds an important role in ensuring that communications are clear, strategically tested, targeted and convey a unique voice for Galt
This role requires cross-collaboration and peer-leading within the organization
