General Responsibilities
Responsible for articulating the Fidelity Bank story through creating and distributing messages to convey the Bank's brand strategy internally and externally, planning, writing and delivering strategic communications to advance the business objectives of the bank divisions; coordinating communication tactics and channels to deliver across audiences; coordinating work with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments; complying with operating policies and procedures; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned results.
Essential Duties
Responsible for articulating the Fidelity Bank story through creating and distributing messages to convey the Bank's brand strategy internally and externally, planning, writing and delivering strategic communications to advance the business objectives of the bank divisions.
Provides a passionate and engaging experience to all clients, both internally and external, and at all touchpoints, through committed execution of the Fidelity Model Experience and commitment to the Core Values of the organization. Creating and sustaining an environment that promotes loyalty, commitment, and retention.
Collaborates with members of the Marketing Division, Human Resources, and CEO to develop a wide variety of external and internal communications content across multiple channels.
Identifies strategic storytelling opportunities that promote the Bank's mission, business leaders within, and initiatives.
Manages internal communications related to but not limited to the following: new hire and promotion press releases and corresponding social media announcements; products and sales announcements; current events announcements like volunteer opportunities, RAKs, and community news.
Oversees and directs event planning for various internal events (Fidelity Honors Gala, quarterly Officers & Managers Meeting, etc.) events, as well as external events (larger community events, ground breakings, grand openings, etc.)
Plans, writes, and delivers strategic communications from concept to execution, to advance the business objectives of the various Bank divisions, including but not limited to company news, press releases; sales materials (i.e. digital pitch books, brochures, sales sheets), website copy, email communications, social media, and blogs.
Creates and administers content on various social media platforms, engages with and responds to comments and messages, and monitors site metrics. Works with other divisions within the bank to curate content.
Facilitates the development and integration of various communications tactics and channels to effectively reach different audiences and stakeholder groups including traditional media, social media and public relations.
Reviews existing materials for effectiveness and makes recommendations to enhance future communications; tracks communications impact and effectiveness.
Implements strategy to keep written content timely, creative, and engaging.
Balances multiple assignments and projects of varying priority and timeliness.
Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.
Ensures a sound understanding of the company's policies and procedures pertaining to compliance. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. HMDA Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. Completes all necessary compliance training in timeline provided.
Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
Communicates with management and staff in order to integrate goals and activities.
Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other Bank personnel, clients, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
Maintains appropriate records and provides assigned reports.
Completes all necessary training for his/her job function; engages in opportunities for enhancing knowledge of the position and pursuing career development.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism or a related field of study.
Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing and grammar skills with a focus on business writing; proficient interpersonal relations, excellent communication skills; strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills; the ability to multi-task; proficient PC and associated software skills; visual and auditory skills; valid driver's license.
Experience: A minimum of eight (8) years' experience in related positions normally required.
