SUMMARY:
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator coordinates and implements marketing communications projects and supports the day-to-day operations of the marketing and communications team.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required
Minimum of one-year related experience required, minimum two years in Marketing or Public Relations or internship preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Supports planning and execution of communication initiatives, marketing/advertising campaigns, public relations employee communications, content creation and special events to showcase the credit union and amplify messaging
Creates consistent themes, messaging, and branding in all communication touch points, including advertising, corporate social media, and employee communications
Helps source and develop content and visual collateral for campaigns
Supports upkeep and maintenance of SmartHub digital workplace
Coordinates and schedules meetings, recording meeting notes, and distributing meeting recaps and next steps
Tracks projects and prepares status reports for stakeholders
Liaises with the media, vendors, and internal sales and product teams
Work collaboratively to complete competitive analysis, track promotional activities, and organize the reporting of insights/best practices
Assist with writing assignments for internal and external audiences
Lead the project intake and ticketing system for marketing and communications including the arrangement of project briefing meetings to ensure proper kick-off and assignment; work with internal resources or creative agency to develop and communicate project timeline
Oversee Marketing collateral by tracking stock and reordering/sourcing of new materials
Provide meeting support, including coordinating and scheduling meetings, recording meeting notes, and distributing meeting recaps and next steps
Work with internal resources to ensure bills and accruals are on time and accurate from vendors
Life cycle management of expense reports, tracking invoices against budget
Perform other duties upon request from immediate supervisor

Consistently reliable and works well with others
Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite and Google suite
