SUMMARY:

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator coordinates and implements marketing communications projects and supports the day-to-day operations of the marketing and communications team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required

  • Minimum of one-year related experience required, minimum two years in Marketing or Public Relations or internship preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports planning and execution of communication initiatives, marketing/advertising campaigns, public relations employee communications, content creation and special events to showcase the credit union and amplify messaging

  • Creates consistent themes, messaging, and branding in all communication touch points, including advertising, corporate social media, and employee communications

  • Helps source and develop content and visual collateral for campaigns

  • Supports upkeep and maintenance of SmartHub digital workplace

  • Coordinates and schedules meetings, recording meeting notes, and distributing meeting recaps and next steps

  • Tracks projects and prepares status reports for stakeholders

  • Liaises with the media, vendors, and internal sales and product teams

  • Work collaboratively to complete competitive analysis, track promotional activities, and organize the reporting of insights/best practices

  • Assist with writing assignments for internal and external audiences

  • Lead the project intake and ticketing system for marketing and communications including the arrangement of project briefing meetings to ensure proper kick-off and assignment; work with internal resources or creative agency to develop and communicate project timeline

  • Oversee Marketing collateral by tracking stock and reordering/sourcing of new materials

  • Provide meeting support, including coordinating and scheduling meetings, recording meeting notes, and distributing meeting recaps and next steps

  • Work with internal resources to ensure bills and accruals are on time and accurate from vendors

  • Life cycle management of expense reports, tracking invoices against budget

  • Perform other duties upon request from immediate supervisor

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively present and communicate complex solutions

  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong writing skills. Ability to write brand updates and partner with writing and creative resources to update collateral materials as needed

  • Proactively problem solve and create solutions, prioritize projects and tasks while working effectively

  • Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities

  • Consistently reliable and works well with others

  • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite and Google suite

Good Faith Salary Range for this position is $27.35 to $32.82.per hour.
