Responsibilities:

The Marketing Client Services Manager (MCSM) is responsible for the marketing planning and implementation of assigned clients or programs. They collaborate with account management in the development of comprehensive marketing plans.

They have a strong knowledge of Ingram Micro's programs and services in order to consult internally or with clients on business and marketing strategies. MCSM's develop, track and execute a variety of marketing activities and events. They understand marketing trends, technology trends, product positioning and market opportunities.

They have knowledge of Ingram Micro reseller customers and segments, act as the subject matter expert on their client and / or program and work with account management on positioning a plan or program. They may also direct the daily activities of associates through delegation of projects.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant additional experience in related field.

Experience: Four to six years of marketing experience, preferably in the high tech computer related environment.

Experience developing and implementing channel marketing programs is desirable. A basic understanding of the distribution channel preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge or similar experience outside of Ingram Micro related to the above Job Description, including the following skills and abilities:

Knowledgeable in: Technology products and distribution channels relative to assigned product category is desired ; General computer applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint) as well as specific Ingram Micro systems (i.e. SAP, IMPulse)

Skilled in: Selling and negotiation, proficient writing skills, presentations skills, multi-tasking skills, problem solving skills and trouble-shooting abilities, strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills

Ability to: Communicate with executive level associates internally and externally in an articulate and professional manner.

Ability to practice discretion and understand appropriateness of communication and behavior, contribute in the marketing plan or program development process based on client goals, implement recommendations and see projects through to completion.

Ability to professionally conduct meetings and discussions, work both independently and as a team member.

Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, international travel may be required.

The Client Services Senior Manager (SM) is part of the American Funds Service (AFS) leadership team within the Shareholder Services department. The SM role has responsibility for coaching, developing, and evaluating the performance of managers who lead teams of associates who provide service to our clients. The SM will be involved in executing business plans, monitoring staffing levels, ensuring that service is properly and consistently provided, handling service escalation, and identifying resource needs. In this role the SM can also expect to work with peers to identify and implement process improvements and new business procedures and policies as well as maintain a positive and engaging work environment. Responsibilities: Develops and maintains an effective team, including the following: * Manages, coaches, and develops talent of SHSV Managers and associates, ensuring a high level of engagement across their teams. * Oversees/monitors quality and efficiency of work (calls, written requests) to ensure high service standards are consistently achieved; addresses issues identified. * Demonstrates broad working knowledge of SHSV functional responsibilities, interdependencies, procedures, risks and controls, and in-depth knowledge of the investment management industry as it relates to Capital Group's products. * Evaluates business processes and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement; identifies, recommends, and leads change. * Guides associates and engages relevant internal and external parties to manage and resolve high-risk, escalated business scenarios. * Exhibits knowledge in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting SHSV and impacting financial results. * Develops, leads or participates in SHSV initiatives to achieve business plan outcomes in alignment with AFSG's Mission. * May lead execution of a work stream plan.
