Not many teams aspire to zero. In the Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WW R&R) group at Amazon, we are dedicated to 'making zero happen' - zero cost of returns, zero waste, and zero defects - to benefit our customers, company, and environment. We do this by developing groundbreaking products and driving unparalleled operational excellence to help customers keep what they buy; discover great deals on quality open box, used, and rental items; recover returned and damaged product value; keep thousands of tons of waste from landfills; and create the best customer returns experience in the world. We have an eye to the future - we create long-term value at Amazon by focusing not just on the bottom line, but also on the planet and our people.

We are a rapidly growing organization with a sustainability goal to change the way our customers think about and purchase refurbished, open-box, and used products. Joining this team gives you the opportunity to help customers find and buy the right products for their needs across multiple online channels. You will execute end-to-end marketing strategy for the Amazon Warehouse brand. In this role, you will:

  • Execute a robust customer awareness and acquisition program that spans multiple channels including promotional events, targeted on-site placements, paid search, email, social media, PR, associates and other channels.

  • Work with category managers, designers, and data engineers to improve the discovery and shopping experience for non-new products online, particularly for value-driven customers.

  • Continuously improve the customer experience through analyzing traffic and customer engagement metrics.

  • Invent and test site improvements with the support of dedicated product, design, and technical teams.

  • Partner with the broader Amazon Retail marketing teams to incorporate seasonal themes and support cross-site events.

  • Dive deep on traffic data and customer pain points to make recommendations for scalable solutions that help bolster awareness and conversion.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • 2+ years of site merchandising and/or digital marketing experience.

  • 2+ years' experience working independently in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.

  • 2+ years' experience with analytical, critical thinking, and data gathering skills, including the ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable solutions.

  • 2+ years' experience managing, influencing, negotiating, and communicating with external service providers and internal teams.

  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing innovative marketing programs and events.

  • Bias for action with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business Administration.

  • Strong copy-writing and design skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Passion for sustainability and the used product marketplace.

  • Strong analytical skills, customer-focus, great judgment and creative problem solving skills.

  • E-commerce or retail background.

  • Experience managing SEM / SEO and email campaigns.

  • Experience with online metrics and testing tools.

  • Basic understanding of XML, SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
