Job Summary:

Under limited direction, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience to lead multiple complex marketing campaigns, direct advertising and communications activities. Works independently on complex assignments that are broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity. Leads key product marketing strategy functions for the firm while ensuring proper branding, communications and production goals are met. Resolves or recommends solutions to complex problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with sales and creative team members on projects; conceptualize, initiate, research, and write

  • Maintains a prioritized schedule of deliverables while adjusting to changing priorities.

  • Oversees website and campaign tracking functions and oversees management of website campaigns, updates, and enhancements along with campaign tracking for effectiveness.

  • Identifies marketing technology and infrastructure needs to improve user experience, campaign execution and reporting. Leads roll-out and implementation of new campaign tools.

  • Drives excellence in copywriting, design and user experience.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • Exceptional technical knowledge expected of senior writer, designer/art director, and media/interactive roles.

  • Marketing processes and overall business knowledge to develop marketing strategies within the organization on inter-departmental, corporate, business-to-business, and/or client levels.

  • Social media management.

Skill in:

  • Organizational, planning and time management skills - as well as a "roll up the sleeves" mentality - sufficient to independently oversee multiple projects from start to completion.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

  • Developing and managing marketing projects.

  • Thinking independently to consider the business reality of decisions related to creative work.

Ability to:

  • Deliver a positive public perception of product, brand and company through communications, web and social media.

  • Exceptional ability to interpret or develop creative strategy

  • Refine copy and enhance messaging by setting the appropriate tone, to create or refine overall visual tone, to enhance a full range of interactive communications.

  • Work accurately with attention to detail on marketing materials, presentations and written communication.

  • Organize, manage and track multiple projects with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Work in a client-focused and team-based environment and execute at a high level

  • Work independently with minimal oversight.

Educational/Previous Experience

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communications, design, English or related field with a minimum of ten (10) years of related work experience.

An individual who possesses the ability to juggle multiple projects with clear priorities and to easily articulate the connections between the big picture and specific action plans and timetables. * Relevant Knowledge: Possesses demonstrable knowledge of effective and successful field plans, including targeting, voter contact, GOTV and best practices with each. * Interpersonal Effectiveness: An effective communicator who has excelled in building successful relationships and a commitment to collaboration. Has an established record of fostering teamwork and consensus, effectively managing conflict, and provoking creative problem-solving and risk taking, and is inclusive of diverse individual and cultural perspectives. Experience: * A minimum of 5 years of campaign management experience in positions of increasing responsibility. * Experience running statewide large scale, field operations are required.
