The purpose of this position is to provide support to the corporate and transactional marketing team in a number of areas, including pitches, presentations, events, mass mailings, research, data entry/compilation, and a wide variety of other activities.

Job Description


  • Assist with the assembly and production of pitches and proposals, tracking relevant information in a database and running reports.

  • Produce electronic communications such as client e-mail advisories, newsletters, invitations and announcements. Maintain, update and edit all practice group website content including attorney biographies, practice group descriptions, speaking engagements, events and articles.

  • Maintain league table entries and deal database as well as regular updates to the firm's marketing credentials.

  • Utilize the Firm's CRM (Interaction) and experience databases, including data entry and running reports.

  • Provide editorial support.

  • Assist with seminars, webinars, conferences and other events, including logistics, invitations, materials, responses and follow-up communications.

  • Conduct company, client, industry, competitor and other research and analysis to assist managers with business development efforts. Complete other assignments and projects as needed.

  • Performs any and all other duties as necessary and as assigned by your supervisor for efficient functioning of the Department, Office and Firm.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or English.

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.

  • Flexible to work overtime when needed

  • Solid technical skills including internet research, MS Office SuiteWord, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Database experience (i.e., Interaction) is preferred.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and coordinate own work.

  • Good interpersonal skills, polite, professional, positive manner, and a client service approach.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Good grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Knowledge of the Firm's policies and procedures.

  • Ability to learn new skills as they become necessary.

  • Ability to function in a collaborative organization and be a team player.

  • This position operates in a professional office environment which is generally free of hazards and exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

  • This position requires regular attendance on-site at a Dechert location.

  • This position routinely operates standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopy machines, fax machines and filing cabinets, and requires frequent communication with the firm's employees and partners as well as third parties.

  • This position is mainly sedentary. Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to read, sit and type for sustained periods of time; to walk, stand, reach and bend; to open and close filing cabinets and access and retrieve materials in file rooms; to lift, carry and move files or other items of light to moderate weight; to operate equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination; and to verbally communicate to exchange information..

Who we are As part of Twitter's Global Content Marketing team within Global Business Marketing, the Content Editor will create and execute content programs for our team's marketing flagship website as well as take the lead on all copy-related initiatives (e-mail, promotions). You'll take a consumer-first approach to B2B writing, turning data into a creative and compelling narrative. You'll execute our team's marketing strategy and tell a story that communicates Twitter's value to marketers from brands and agencies around the globe through content that marketers will want to engage with and share. What you'll do You are obsessed with Twitter and how content travels on the platform. You know what it takes to have a strong Twitter voice, and you practice what you preach. You are someone who is passionate about content, whether it's in 280 characters or a 3000-word article. You consider yourself a social expert. As a word nerd, you love to write and tell stories. You're also a grammar geek and can edit copy as quickly and efficiently as you can turn in clean copy of your own. You have a collaborative mindset and draw from a variety of sources or inspiration to come up with creative content ideas.
