The purpose of this position is to provide support to the corporate and transactional marketing team in a number of areas, including pitches, presentations, events, mass mailings, research, data entry/compilation, and a wide variety of other activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist with the assembly and production of pitches and proposals, tracking relevant information in a database and running reports.
Produce electronic communications such as client e-mail advisories, newsletters, invitations and announcements. Maintain, update and edit all practice group website content including attorney biographies, practice group descriptions, speaking engagements, events and articles.
Maintain league table entries and deal database as well as regular updates to the firm's marketing credentials.
Utilize the Firm's CRM (Interaction) and experience databases, including data entry and running reports.
Provide editorial support.
Assist with seminars, webinars, conferences and other events, including logistics, invitations, materials, responses and follow-up communications.
Conduct company, client, industry, competitor and other research and analysis to assist managers with business development efforts. Complete other assignments and projects as needed.
Performs any and all other duties as necessary and as assigned by your supervisor for efficient functioning of the Department, Office and Firm.
QUALIFICATIONS / KSAs:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or English.
0-3 years of relevant experience.
Flexible to work overtime when needed
Solid technical skills including internet research, MS Office SuiteWord, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Database experience (i.e., Interaction) is preferred.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and coordinate own work.
Good interpersonal skills, polite, professional, positive manner, and a client service approach.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension.

This position requires regular attendance on-site at a Dechert location.
