Position Summary:

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Enhance supplier relations through development, communication, and monitoring of annual and monthly business plans.

  • Understand and communicate the supplier's marketing plans and strategies to managers, sales and delivery teams.

  • Plan and monitor special events, work with's, and customer contact. Maximize consumer sampling opportunities.

  • Communicate regularly with the brand managers on upcoming events, promotions and opportunities to advance the business in the market.

  • Involve supplier alliances and sponsorships with professional teams, social groups, fan clubs and industry organizations.

  • Be well versed with sales data systems in order to: prepare targeted plans, track activity, and report results versus goals.

  • Assist with inventory by monitoring seasonal and special order inventory levels. Work with suppliers and brand managers to create reliable suggested orders to assist the Purchasing Manager.

  • Monitor accounts to verify sales execution in conjunction with planned expectation.

  • Report execution deficiencies to sales management.

  • Manage the Point of Sale budget and work closely with suppliers on the order by providing suggestions that work in conjunction with retail needs.

  • Assure that all brand related activity requiring supplier reimbursement is correctly documented and provided to accounting on a timely basis.

  • Develop and distribute internal and external sales materials and newsletters.

  • Assist with Chain contract submission.

  • Manage price letter updates and sales teams notifications.

  • Any other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of marketing experience

  • Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft office experience preferred

  • Must be 21 years of age

  • Ability to communicate with customers, management and co workers

  • Strong presentation skills either one on one or in a group setting

  • College degree preferred

  • Valid drivers license, reliable transportation and current automobile insurance with at least the minimum state required coverage levels.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Position Summary: Increases and maintains total supply chain efficiencies for the Merchandiser department, and its suppliers, by managing a team of front line employees to merchandise a diverse portfolio of products to key retail accounts. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: * Insures the merchandiser department employees receive clear direction and proper training utilizing the Company's training program. * Insures Merchandiser Supervisors mentors and develops team to ensure proper execution of work procedures * Manages projects / initiatives and achieves desired results / objectives and high client satisfaction within budget and schedule * Tracks productivity to meet company's requirements and maximize efficiencies * Maintain two way communications with Sales and Operations teams on monthly basis to identify executions needs and Gap time opportunities * Position must pass a post offer drug test and background check * Any other duties as assigned * Conduct timely annual and probationary performance evaluations on all assigned staff members * Recognize, document and addresses performance issues of assigned staff * Establish a strong business relationship with customers * Complete special projects as directed by VP in a timely and accurate manner * Other projects or duties as assigned.
