Hughes is seeking a passionate Marketing Automation Specialist who wants to help both Marketing and Sales get maximum value out of the tools we have today. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and willing to investigate industry best practices and adapt them to our needs. This key member of the marketing team will be responsible for helping us use our software tools to extend our reach and improve the efficiency of the sales team. The right candidate will act as the point of contact with our vendors and help keep us updated on improvements and changes that affect our operations.
Understand capabilities of our existing Marketing Automation Toolset and act as subject matter expert to marketing and sales teams on how to get the most out of the tools. Our current tools include:
Marketo / HubSpot
LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Microsoft Office 365 & Microsoft Teams
Oversee the relationship with each tool vendor monitoring renewal dates, organizing training and support from the vendors.
Using existing Tools create automation templates that can be used by the Marketing team to execute campaigns quickly.
Interact with the Sales, Sales Engineering, and Marketing teams to understand their utilization of the tools and work collaboratively with them to improve efficiency.
Reviewing existing marketing campaigns and automate where appropriate.
Curate marketing and sales collateral and ensure awareness by the internal teams to the available material.
Work with SalesForce administrator to maintain data integrity.
Work with SalesForce administrator to implement changes needed to allow increased automation.
Implement automated lead scoring practices.
Participate in marketing strategy discussions and help shape the future of our team.
Automate A/B testing on marketing campaigns to maximize results.
Ensure a clear flow of leads into the system and through to the appropriate follow up processes
Create nurturing workflows that utilize available content.
Analyze campaign activity and results and look for areas to improve.
Reporting on all campaigns and automated programs.
Recommendations on ways to improve performance and increase goal achievement.
Previous experience with SalesForce as part of a Marketing Automation program
Previous experience using Marketing Automation platforms Marketo and HubSpot.
Basic understanding of CSS/HTML5 in order to make small edits as needed
Experience using Office365 Tools (Word, Excel, PPT, OneNote, OneDrive, Planner)
Experience with Microsoft Teams a plus
