The Impact You Will Have:

We are seeking a savvy Marketing Automation Lead, to be for be a part of our world class B2B Marketing Team. This position will be responsible for strategy and execution for Marketing Automation at the organization. This position will be responsible for using email marketing and marketing automation programs to drive prospects through targeted campaigns in order to increase response rates, engagement, and drive measurable pipeline.


A Day in the Life:

  • Work collaboratively with marketing and sales teams to develop marketing templates, lead scoring, nurture, and email marketing campaigns with the ultimate goal to increase response rates, engagement, and to drive measurable pipeline.

  • Ownership of our prospect database and ability to design interactions to deepen our relationship with current database members through a broad range of online and other communications

  • Manage audience segmentation, including number of touches, engagement, unsubscribe and audience size

  • Understand and implement all facets of lead nurturing and marketing automation, including list segmentation, emails, campaign automation, landing pages, and reporting

  • Craft lead nurturing programs and email templates for trigger-based and drip communications that advance prospects through the buying cycle.

  • Coordinate with designers to create compelling HTML emails with strong copy, images, and navigation and perform A/B testing for optimization

  • Work with Web management to ensure that lead generation campaigns are of the up reflected on company website and that all required lead acquisition components/calls to action are fully in place

  • Responsible for reporting out email results, database health and provide insight and suggestions

  • Develop and execute marketing calendars, editorial calendars and/or posting schedules as necessary

  • Understand CRM system works together with Demand Generation and automation tools.


What You'll Need:

  • Proficiency in marketing automation systems, specifically Marketo

  • 3-5 years of in a related marketing demand gen role, preferably B2B

  • 2+ years of experience with demand generation tools, specifically emails, forms, campaigns, lead

  • Comfortable creating HTML emails.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy despite deadline pressure.

  • Proven track record of driving demand through targeted campaigns and nurture programs.

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem solving skills.

  • Collaborative, upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership and have fun.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.

The Associate Creative Director – Digital Marketing will significantly impact Vivint's success by acting as the Digital Marketing team's creative leader, with responsibility for establishing and maintaining digital brand standards, representing the digital team on photo/video shoots, and overseeing UI/UX design and copy writing for and a range of digital advertising channels (e.g., Social, Display, Search, Email, etc.). Additionally, this leader will be responsible for building, managing, and mentoring a team of designers and writers. The ACD role reports directly within the Digital Marketing department, and collaborates cross-functionally with Vivint's Sr. Creative Director and other creative team members across the company. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Grow and lead a team of 5-10 designers and copywriters responsible for the company's main website dedicated to creating leads for the call center and e-commerce sales channels—and all digital advertising; assess team requirements and hire, train, and develop staff to meet goals and objectives * Act as a senior creative voice in reviewing design and copy across Digital Marketing * Be a mentor; foster a welcoming and productive culture for all creative professionals within Digital Marketing and across Vivint * Build productive and seamless relationships with key stakeholders, including channel owners, website product management, IT/dev, brand marketing, external partners, and others * Collaborate in the development of overarching creative strategies appropriate to each channel; work with CRO team to continually optimize website / landing page performance * Be an advocate for brand standards and user experience; apply a data-driven approach and sound judgment to appropriately balance business, brand, and user needs REQUIRED SKILLS: * Performance orientation; desire to build creative that drives measurable business impact * Creative vision; ability to inspire and mentor UI/UX designers and copywriters * Strong visual skill-set, creative sensibility, and web design experience - able to discuss and sketch out ideas and wireframes quickly * Exceptional portfolio that demonstrates visuals and communications executed to a very high level of impact and refinement * Hands-on experience strategically developing creative solutions and campaigns * Expert knowledge of creative processes and all digital creative software tools * Experience hiring, managing, and developing creative professionals * Positive, inspirational leadership style that brings teams and departments together; energetic, flexible, and approachable work-style * Strong project management skills; ability to effectively manage multiple projects and keep stakeholders informed of progress; track record of success in hitting aggressive timelines; sense of urgency * Ability to apply sound judgment to business, user, and brand needs; orientation to view creative as a system, rather than as individual pieces of execution * Excellent verbal and written communication and persuasion skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold vision; ability to edit and provide direction on copy as needed * Willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals * Detail-oriented; diligence and skill in proof reading, fine print, legal messaging, double-checking MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * BS/BA in advertising, design, or relevant field required; MS/MA valued * 7+ years experience in creative execution and management * Prior B2C experience is strongly preferred WORKING CONDITIONS: * This job operates in a professional office environment.
