Marketing Automation & Analytics Tech Lead
The Marketing Automation & Analytics Technical Lead is a data strategist who will help oversee digital marketing data coming from our websites and digital marketing tech stack as well as managing the day to day SFMC (Exact Target) integrations with key CRM and other data management systems and operations of marketing campaigns cross-channel including email, mobile, social and paid media along and insuring that this data flows into Google Analytics 360 efficiently and within standards.
This role will help lead the operational efficiency, knowledge share and day to day operations within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget and its integrations with CRM along with Journey Builder, SMS, Ad Studio, Social Studio along with Google Analytics 360. Responsible for supporting day to day SFMC operations and cross-channel digital marketing campaigns including email, mobile and paid media and oversee complex campaign workflow rules, data validation, and triggers and drive process improvements and innovations. This role will support and educate/train our business unit partners on best practices in utilizing SFMC and oversee technical operations of our digital tech stack.
Identify and document business requirements to ensure proper tracking of all web assets and experiences.
Deliver insight and understanding of user behaviors to improve marketing effectiveness.
Operationalize insights through development of variety of reports and automation processes.
Manage administration of campaigns and projects across the cloud, either in each function (email, SMS, Push, Ad studio, Social Studio), leveraging CRM and other core systems.
Oversee complex campaign workflow rules, data validation, and triggers and drive process improvements and innovations
Oversee integration and orchestration of marketing campaigns initiated in CRM or SFMC.
Independently work cross-functionally to drive progress and resolve issues
Collaborate with and communicate to campaign teams to align approach and set-up with strategy
Develop and maintain validation rules and custom work flow
Prepare and plan future new functionality and customization or enhancements with users prior to releasing net new functionality.
Support and educate/train our business unit partners on best practices in utilizing SFMC tools.
BS/MS degree in marketing / technology or a related field.
5 to 7 years direct experience executing email marketing campaigns preferably via ExactTarget
5 years' experience in CR administration and prior history integrating Markeitng Cloud with CRM.
Minimum 5 years' experience building email marketing campaigns utilizing, content areas, segmentation, automation, tracking and analytics to make data driven decisions to optimize their email campaigns
Experience with SQL
Extremely detail oriented; ensures work is correct before releasing while still meeting deadlines
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
