The Marketing Associate ideates and executes on new marketing opportunities and the best tactics to support a business needs with our key sponsorships. S/he understands complex needs from the business and from the market, and simplifies into a clear and actionable plan to management as needed.
Facilitate with accounting and finance as needed; and management of monthly and quarterly reporting.
Support additional sponsorship and marketed related tasks as needed
Work with Santander at Work team, and other business units as needed, to coordinate and maximize on-site tabling opportunities with partners
Support conducting research on sponsorship landscape and assist in identifying new potential opportunities
Assist in planning and logistics for sponsorship related events and unique hospitality experience for corporate clients and team members
Develop and maintain Santander corporate ticket program; including management of ticket inventory; oversight of Spotlight database; training and communication with internal stakeholders
Aid in the development and execution of sponsorship activation to maximize branding, consumer engagement, team member involvement and community involvement.
Analyzes existing traffic and conversion trends to identify areas of opportunity.
Assists with current & new sponsorship by strategizing with clients on meeting booklets, proposals, presentations, etc.
Engages and communicates with key business partners to align priorities and influence business areas.
Monitors and reports on trends in social media tools and applications; applies knowledge to increasing the effective use of social media at the Company.
Presents and messages actionable and relevant information around marketing plans and deliverables to management as needed.
Writes and delivers content for blogs, quora posts, email, and/or social media.
Bachelor's Degree; Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent field or equivalent work experience;
0-3 years of Financial Services industry experience preferred
5-9 years of Marketing or Communications experience
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Ability to travel as required
Creative and proactive problem solver
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
Experience working in a project-based environment with emphasis on meeting deadlines
Willingness to work the hours necessary to meet marketing goals including occasional evenings and weekends
Ability to interpret and analyze an array of data in a variety of forms and leverage it for marketing purposes.
Ability to motivate or influence inside or outside senior level personnel, requiring a significant level of influence and trust
Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment; ability to listen, evaluate different view points and influence others.
Candidate must be able to think strategically, but be willing and able to roll up sleeves to help implement the programs and measure results.
Comfortable with new digital technology, social media, and reporting.
Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
