The Marketing Associate ideates and executes on new marketing opportunities and the best tactics to support a business needs with our key sponsorships. S/he understands complex needs from the business and from the market, and simplifies into a clear and actionable plan to management as needed.

  • Facilitate with accounting and finance as needed; and management of monthly and quarterly reporting.

  • Support additional sponsorship and marketed related tasks as needed

  • Work with Santander at Work team, and other business units as needed, to coordinate and maximize on-site tabling opportunities with partners

  • Support conducting research on sponsorship landscape and assist in identifying new potential opportunities

  • Assist in planning and logistics for sponsorship related events and unique hospitality experience for corporate clients and team members

  • Develop and maintain Santander corporate ticket program; including management of ticket inventory; oversight of Spotlight database; training and communication with internal stakeholders

  • Aid in the development and execution of sponsorship activation to maximize branding, consumer engagement, team member involvement and community involvement.


  • Analyzes existing traffic and conversion trends to identify areas of opportunity.

  • Assists with current & new sponsorship by strategizing with clients on meeting booklets, proposals, presentations, etc.

  • Engages and communicates with key business partners to align priorities and influence business areas.

  • Monitors and reports on trends in social media tools and applications; applies knowledge to increasing the effective use of social media at the Company.

  • Presents and messages actionable and relevant information around marketing plans and deliverables to management as needed.

  • Writes and delivers content for blogs, quora posts, email, and/or social media.


  • Bachelor's Degree; Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent field or equivalent work experience;

  • 0-3 years of Financial Services industry experience preferred

  • 5-9 years of Marketing or Communications experience

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

  • Ability to travel as required

  • Creative and proactive problem solver

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

  • Experience working in a project-based environment with emphasis on meeting deadlines

  • Willingness to work the hours necessary to meet marketing goals including occasional evenings and weekends

  • Ability to interpret and analyze an array of data in a variety of forms and leverage it for marketing purposes.

  • Ability to motivate or influence inside or outside senior level personnel, requiring a significant level of influence and trust

  • Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment; ability to listen, evaluate different view points and influence others.

  • Candidate must be able to think strategically, but be willing and able to roll up sleeves to help implement the programs and measure results.

  • Comfortable with new digital technology, social media, and reporting.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
