Description
Gain hands-on experience in marketing, fan development, promotions, and events with the Oklahoma City Thunder! As a Marketing Associate, you will assist in the implementation and activation of fan development promotions through various channels such as Thunder home games, grassroots initiatives, Youth Basketball events, and regional activation campaigns. Join our team in this part-time role for the 2024-25 season and help build community connections in professional sports marketing.
In this role you will:
Assist with game night and event duties including unloading and distribution of promotional items
Set-up and maintain game night promotions including in-seat digital experience
Complete grassroot initiatives to deepen engagement and cultivate relationship with Thunder fans
Maintain a solution-oriented approach during events while embracing fan-facing professionalism
Lead community Thunder entertainment appearances, handling request submissions and appearance execution
Assist in data collection through data-driven reporting, lead generation ideation, and fulfillment
Manage community spotlight programs
Assist with event planning for Fan Development, Retail, and Thunder Youth Basketball community programs
Complete brand strategy and consumer behavior campaign recaps for Fan Development initiatives
Assist with special projects as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll bring to the role:

Bi-lingual abilities, including Spanish/English, sign language, or other fluencies, are a plus
Additional Details:
Work schedule will include all Thunder home games and potential post-season. A driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation. Some travel, including potential occasional overnight stays, will be necessary to support events in the metro and surrounding regions. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, and working the presence of loud in-arena noise, music, and flashing or strobe lighting. This is a part-time position reporting to the Fan Development Coordinator. Employees are encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
