Position Summary:

Contribute as a member of the marketing team in the execution of strategic and tactical marketing plans to fuel rapid growth. Core responsibilities are working with cross functional teams to assist in driving a successful product launch. This will entail support of portfolio management, positioning, competitive analysis, advertising, maintaining and establishing relationships with leading physicians, market research, publications, as well as aid in the development and execution of educational initiatives and support activities of the sales force.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of comprehensive strategic marketing plan

  • Work with sales, marketing and product teams to assist in the development and refinement of positioning for current and future products

  • Work with cross functional teams to manage marketing campaigns from inception to completion through various channels that will encompass product and customer focused initiatives

  • Work with the marketing team to manage and assess participation at key trade shows and congresses using speakers, focus groups, invitations, mailers, door drops, graphics, etc.

  • Attend conferences, clinical meetings and seminars

  • Contribute to product launches by managing promotional and advertising strategies and vendor relationships

  • Support the podium presence at key clinical congresses

  • Monitor and maintain company-wide communication regarding influential third party publications

  • Establish and continue building valuable relationships with physicians, clinical champions and thought leaders in the field

  • Monitor and communicate competitive activities

  • Handle all Labeling and Promotional material (advertising, marketing literature, etc) per the company's Quality System procedures.

  • Forward all communications regarding any written, electronic or oral communication that alleges deficiencies related to the identity, quality, durability, reliability, safety, effectiveness, or performance of a device after it is released for distribution as a Product Complaint to QA per the quality system and the ISO/FDA regulations.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the quality system and products, visibly and actively, on a continuing basis.

  • Responsible for knowing, understanding the Quality Policy, Quality Manual and the applicable Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • BS/BA or degree or equivalent experience, MBA a plus.

  • A minimum of two to five years of experience in a marketing function

  • A background in medical devices and/or in Aesthetic sales models is highly preferred

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Delivers results with multiple and complex projects

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is essential

  • Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills

  • Extensive experience and abilities with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Approximate travel of 10%

Position Summary: ultraimpact – Make a difference for those who need it most The Associate Director of Commercial Training will build and implement the commercial management, managed markets, and field commercial specialist training programs focused on their critical role in ensuring commercial success. The training function will use in-depth clinical and commercial knowledge, as well as general field-related experience, specific product and marketplace knowledge, to facilitate commercial and clinical education training sessions for the commercial team. The Associate Director of Commercial Training collaborate and work cross functionally with Marketing, Field Commercial, Human Resources, Market Access, and Medical/Legal/Regulatory to design, build, and implement training programs to support all commercial teams. Responsibilities including, but not limited to: New Hire Training & Development: * Lead the design, development, and delivery of training modules for new field personnel and/or newly promoted personnel, where appropriate * Design, update, and communicate in-field training objectives and materials to commercial organization * Plan and execute comprehensive training program encompassing in house, web based and self- study modules leading to robust knowledge level and continuous improvement * Refine new hire training road-maps to reflect current needs of the product messaging for all audiences * Facilitate workshops effectively in a clear and interactive manner * Evaluate new hire curriculum for continuous improvement current Ultragenyx products * Work with the Leadership to ensure new hire readiness Tenured Field Training & Development: * Evaluate training needs annually or as needed * Work in the field with audiences to determine needs; in collaboration with management, help provide coaching and pull-through of training initiatives (where appropriate) * Consult with Management on needs of the field * Facilitate the learning process via workshops, webinars, conference calls, one-on-one coaching sessions, and written communications to ensure field personnel are competent in the areas of product knowledge, compliance, presentation skills, customer service, and communicating the value of Ultragenyx disease areas, products and services * Plan, develop and conduct workshops at regional meetings and national meetings in collaboration with Commercial Leadership and regional training * Participate in curriculum design and workshop development for advanced training * Work with cross-functional teams to set objectives for continuous improvement of commercial effectiveness; message delivery, knowledge, customer skills, etc. Additional Duties: * Lead the development of training materials for new indications, new products, competitors, etc. * Participate in ongoing assessment of training needs with the field force, marketing, and medical * Liaison with vendors, internal and external partners and provide appropriate training management where necessary * Provide on-going training on new policies and procedures, as needed * Serve as training lead at meetings for National and Regional meetings Technical Requirements & Skills: * 5 years or more of training experience. Instructional design experience a plus * 4 years of biotech or pharmaceutical field sales.
