Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.

The Role

Working closely with the EMEA BD Director and PMDs and Partners in the Risk Advisory team, the Risk Advisory Marketing Professional will play a central role in developing and executing the marketing strategies and plans for the group. With high visibility and daily interaction with the client service teams, this role will need to focus on delivering an overall first-class service.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing strategy & planning

  • Create clear, actionable and targeted marketing activity plans that flow from the business plans to help achieve marketing objectives with target referrers and clients.

  • Work with the wider BD & Marketing team to ensure that activities and plans include geographic and cross-service line input where necessary to ensure a 'one firm' approach to clients and to marketing activities.

Marketing execution

  • Propose, organise and, working with the London-based EMEA events team where appropriate, deliver AlixPartners hosted events, including regular dinners, for current and new referrers and clients. Ensure that events are executed to the highest standards, creating full pre-and post-event follow-up activities

  • Work with PMDs, Partners and Directors to deliver content-based webinars

  • Take responsibility for organising AlixPartners presence at external conferences - e.g. International Bar Association, The Lawyer events, Thoughtleaders4

  • Support the development of content by the Risk Advisory group - including articles and blogs, ensuring a regular cadence of content. Work with the central EMEA content team to and Risk team to promote global content

  • Work with the Risk Advisory team to support the amplification of content across everybody's LinkedIn channels.

  • Manage key external relationships with directory and awards providers. Manage the calendar and timetable for all directory and award submissions. Support the consultants by producing first drafts of submissions and managing the process to successful completion.

  • Working with the business intelligence team, manage the production of and maintenance of pitch and marketing collateral

  • Create a regular check-in calendar to support the Risk Advisory team in ensuring that their personal biographies are up to date on the firm's website and for pitch documents

Other responsibilities

  • Propose, manage and track annual marketing budgets for the Risk Advisory group.

  • Run internal meetings with the Risk Advisory teams to agree action plans and help them deliver marketing and BD activities.

  • Work with colleagues in Risk Advisory and in the global marketing/BIC team to ensure that all data is accurately inputted, tracked and monitored in Radius.

  • Be an active member of the EMEA BD & Marketing team helping to promote cross-service line, cross-country collaboration.

Person Specification - Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Experience & Knowledge

  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience - preferably in a professional services environment

  • Experience of working in a matrix environment - desirable

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Ability to speak with confidence and influence change both internally with senior leaders and externally with third party partners

  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Suite - essential

  • Digital native - a solid understanding of digital platforms including (or similar to): Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Canva, Passle, Podbean, Riverside.fm, InterAction, Mondaq, Shorthand - desirable

  • Proven experience of multi-channel campaign management - comfortable with range of activities, from one-off email to large scale events

  • Enthusiasm and energy - a willingness to learn and possesses a 'can do' approach, with solid people skills and a team player

  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours as unique projects/needs arise

  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment
