PepsiCo's Juice+ business unit is looking for a passionate, dynamic marketer who has a strong interest in leveraging a variety of media channels (new and traditional) to enhance and expand the brand's relationship with consumers. This Marketer will be a key part of the Juice+ media team acting as a strategic thinker, collaborator, executer and project manager. While there is room to grow in media expertise through PepsiCo's global Media Center of Excellence, this role could also be a rotational marketing position within Juice+ where a next rotation may be to base marketing, marketing strategy/communications, innovation or other roles pending experience, fit and business needs.
The primary focus of this Media Planning role is to own the planning, execution, measurement and optimization of paid media programs for the Juice+ organization. Beyond having experience planning traditional linear TV media, the ideal candidate will have significant experience in the fields of digital content, media, and marketing /ad technology. This role is a part of the Media Planning Team, which is focused on delivering Media Mix Return on Investment while achieving Juice+ product growth goals and exploring new media technologies and partners. As part of this team, the role is responsible for managing the Juice+ portfolio's marketing technology, data and audience strategy and digital advertising efforts.
You will work closely with both internal cross-functional partners including Insights, Marketing Strategy & Creative and PR marketers as well as external agency partners including creative and media agencies to bring breakthrough campaigns to life that grow the business. From writing strategic and creative briefs to managing integrated campaign production to building media plans, you will manage our campaign development process from start to finish.
Provide strategic, creative and technical leadership for all paid media programs
Lead audience selection, partner selection and media scheduling for digital media program execution while providing input to drive content creation
Take media analytic output and turn into thoughtful media mix plans that achieve business goals
Project manage the advertising agency including developing media briefs, managing communications, reviewing and providing input to media plans
Own and manage marketing technology infrastructure including CRM, DMP, and ad serving software systems
Manage 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data sources in order to develop, activate and measure audience segments of Juice+ shoppers and consumers
Work with agency, enterprise, and consulting partners to deliver media plans
Partner with other groups in promotions, shopper marketing, and public relations to develop best in class integrated marketing solutions
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
5-7 years of marketing experience in relevant fields (brand, agency, marketing tech)
Proven experience leading and collaborating within cross-discipline teams and agency partners
Capable of building compelling business cases in PPT or Keynote (preferred)
Ability to flex between analytical and creative thinking
Experience with marketing tech platforms across the advertising value chain
Strong working knowledge of the social media and other digital platforms
Expertise in media planning from targeting to scheduling and measurement
Highly analytical, motivated, decisive leader with excellent managerial skills
Strategic mind with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and influence multiple decision makers
Open to exploring a future career path within PepsiCo's broader marketing org
