Marketing Assistant

Position Overview: VOXX Electronics Corporation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our dedicated team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting various marketing initiatives and ensuring the smooth execution of marketing campaigns. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, presentations, and other promotional materials.

• Proofread marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

• Maintain a basic understanding of all marketing-related tasks and assist with various projects as needed.

• Serve as a secondary resource to our Digital Marketing Specialist and Content & Design Specialist, filling in gaps and providing support as required.

• Coordinate the distribution of point-of-purchase (POP) and company store materials to support retail and promotional initiatives.

• Manage inventory and orders for the company's swag store, ensuring availability of branded merchandise for internal and external use.

• Support the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.

• Assist with the implementation and optimization of marketing automation tools and systems.

• Assist with the organization and execution of marketing events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall brand strategy and objectives.

• Assist with basic design tasks using Adobe Suite, such as resizing images, updating templates, and creating simple graphics.

• Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to facilitate the production of marketing materials and promotional items.

• Maintain a basic understanding of all marketing-related tasks and assist with various projects as needed.

• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to contribute fresh ideas and insights to the marketing team.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Previous experience in marketing or a related field is preferred but not required.

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.

• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced marketing environment.
