Marketing Assistant

Atlanta Jewish Academy is looking for a Marketing Assistant. AJA, a premier, college preparatory, co-educational, ECD-12th grade, independent School, is located in the wooded Sandy Springs neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. We serve a Jewish population from greater Atlanta and beyond.

This is a new position perfect for someone who is looking to continue to grow professionally and within our institution.

The Marketing Assistant will:

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear, concise manner

• Have exceptional communication skills

• Create responsive email templates and campaigns

• Design email banners

• Assist with content and photos for bi-monthly newsletters

• Assist with creating video promotions

• Be familiar with IMovie or another editing system

• Review content from teachers - (newsletters, blogs etc.) to ensure that all school communications are in keeping with the brand image and reflect the highest level of professionalism and accuracy in content and presentation

• Update school website as needed, monitor for accuracy

• Post daily updates and photos on school social media channels

• Play an integral part in the development and execution of marketing campaigns

• Provide support and assistance, as needed, marketing, admissions, event planning or development/fundraising events - may occasionally involve an evening/and or a Sunday

• Partner with everyone who works at AJA to establish and implement fun and effective ways to increase and reinforce brand awareness

• Serve as liaison to vendors ie. Printing, promotional items, marketing materials

• Identify, select and manage third-party vendors and contractors when external services are required

• Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of college

• Ability to relate to others in a professional and courteous manner

Working Hours

This is a full-time position

Experience:

• Marketing: 1 year (required)

• Digital Marketing: A plus

• Graphic Design: A plus
