Atlanta Jewish Academy is looking for a Marketing Assistant. AJA, a premier, college preparatory, co-educational, ECD-12th grade, independent School, is located in the wooded Sandy Springs neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. We serve a Jewish population from greater Atlanta and beyond.

This is a new position perfect for someone who is looking to continue to grow professionally and within our institution.

The Marketing Assistant will:

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear, concise manner

  • Have exceptional communication skills

  • Create responsive email templates and campaigns

  • Design email banners

  • Assist with content and photos for bi-monthly newsletters

  • Assist with creating video promotions

  • Be familiar with IMovie or another editing system

  • Review content from teachers - (newsletters, blogs etc.) to ensure that all school communications are in keeping with the brand image and reflect the highest level of professionalism and accuracy in content and presentation

  • Update school website as needed, monitor for accuracy

  • Post daily updates and photos on school social media channels

  • Play an integral part in the development and execution of marketing campaigns

  • Provide support and assistance, as needed, marketing, admissions, event planning or development/fundraising events - may occasionally involve an evening/and or a Sunday

  • Partner with everyone who works at AJA to establish and implement fun and effective ways to increase and reinforce brand awareness

  • Serve as liaison to vendors ie. Printing, promotional items, marketing materials

  • Identify, select and manage third-party vendors and contractors when external services are required

  • Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of college

  • Ability to relate to others in a professional and courteous manner

Working Hours

This is a full-time position

Experience:

  • Marketing: 1 year (required)

  • Digital Marketing: A plus

  • Graphic Design: A plus

The Assistant Manager, Marketing Analytics will work closely with the Marketing Analytics Manager and cross-functional teams and is responsible for developing data-driven insights and sales stories focused on driving growth in sales of both Newell brands and the overall category. Leveraging syndicated data, shopper and consumer insights, category and industry trends, the Marketing Analytics Assistant Manager will develop and maintain comprehensive marketplace analytics capabilities to drive fact-based decision making and enable greater sell-thru and market share gains. This information will be leveraged across the business unit by Marketing, Sales, Sales Planning and the Customer Category Management teams to ensure cohesive messaging and execution. This position works as a strategic contributor, imparting knowledge of analytical tactics to drive profitable business results. Duties and responsibilities include the following: Specific Responsibilities Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Extensive Category Understanding * Act as subject matter expert in assigned category and provide thought leadership to internal constituents * Serve as the expert on the use of syndicated data to assist Marketing, Sales and Sales Planning in the development of strategies and tactics * Identify and disseminate Category Management best practices Reporting and Data Analytics * Develop and maintain robust consumption reports and dashboards to enable in-market performance measurement and data-driven decision making * Provide input into category definition and product hierarchy and ensure consistency across data providers * Provide strategic category direction based on syndicated data driven insights * Assist in development of innovation sales forecasts and performance measurement Multi-channel Experience * Provide insight and perspective into the various channel dynamics on assigned categories * Monitor channel shifting and the associated trends reflected in the marketplace * Understand how online purchase behaviors differ from those in-store and how we can capitalize on those differences Finding insights and building sales stories * Synthesize large amounts of data (e.g. POS, household panel, custom research, industry reports and newsletters, etc.) into actionable insights * Leverage knowledge of shopper and consumer to recommend optimal category assortments, flows, adjacencies, cross merchandising opportunities, etc. * Develop compelling fact-based presentations to both internal (Marketing, Sales) and external (retailers) audiences The Candidate Key Skills and Qualifications: * Ability to build strong sustainable business relationships at all levels and functions of the organization and with customers and customer teams * Strong communication skills - both written and verbal * Perform analyses across a wide variety of category business issues and make fact-based recommendations * Must be able to link business objectives with winning growth strategies * Convey complex issues with excellent communication * Develop reports that track key business metrics across categories and channels * Produce fact based presentations that assist Marketing, Sales, and Sales Planning in achieving objectives * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Manage flow of information and requests from Marketing, Sales Planning, Sales and senior management * Ability to prioritize and resource projects effectively Qualifications * Bachelor's degree required (emphasis in Business/Economics/Statistics or related field) * 1-2 years of experience working with a leading CPG company preferred (Marketing Analytics, Category Management, Supply Chain, Sales Analytics or related position) or CPG consulting firm (Nielsen, IRI, NPD) * Familiarity with syndicated data, measures and software (e.g. NPD, IRI, Household Panel) and retailer portals (1010, Retail Link) * Strategic thinking, self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive deadlines * Advanced analytical skills and computer software proficiency (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.) Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, FoodSaver, Calphalon, Sistema, Sharpie, Paper Mate, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer's, Yankee Candle, Graco, NUK, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Spontex, Coleman, Campingaz, Oster, Sunbeam and Mr. Coffee.
