STV has positions for a Marketing Assistant located in our Charlotte NC, and Irvine CA offices. There may be some flexibility for remote work.

This is an opportunity for a self-motivated and driven individual seeking an entry-level position that could lead to a rewarding marketing career. The diverse markets that the firm is invested in affords an entry level or experienced professional the opportunity to grow professionally and collaborate on exciting projects across the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Support our marketing team in the preparation of qualifications statements and proposals, which involves assisting with research, layout, editing, coordination among team members, and production (i.e., reproduction, packaging, delivery)

  • Coordinate with managers to maintain marketing and business development materials including databases, schedules, client management documents, and other support materials

  • Manage and update information in marketing databases

  • Provide client lead tracking and documentation of activity and outcomes

  • Miscellaneous marketing administrative support

Requirements:

  • Curiosity about the built environment

  • Commitment to quality and strategy

  • Flexibility and creativity in responding to clients (internal and external)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details

  • Ability to manage assignments under deadline pressure and, when necessary to meet deadlines, be willing to work overtime

  • Must also be resourceful and have a strong work ethic

Qualifications:

  • Associates/Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalency

  • Experience in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in the service industry or comparable industry

She is looking for exceptional talent to join her in elevating university strategic communications and public engagement to a new level. <br><br> Together, they will serve UCI to further grow its affinity, advance meaningful connections, and champion the collaboration and successes of students, faculty and staff. The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Marketing &amp; Brand Experience (AVC) serves as a member of UCI's Strategic Communications &amp; Public Affairs senior management team and provides counsel and support to senior leadership, including the Chancellor, Associate and Vice Chancellors, Health Chief Executive Officer, and Deans. The Assistant Vice Chancellor is responsible for ensuring that UCI's marketing and creative goals are met, serving as the functional lead for marketing strategy, marketing communications (collateral materials, advertising, outdoor, web content), web design and content management, and creative services (graphic design, photography, videography, art and illustration, interactive design and development, copywriting, social media). This position works closely with the Vice Chancellor, Strategic Communications &amp; Public Affairs to advance the goals of the university through strong brand management, a marketing strategy aligned with institutional priorities, and effective creative solutions and programming. <br><br> The AVC leads a team of creative, web and marketing professionals, both staff and contracted, which includes advertising agencies, photographers/videographers, graphic and interactive designers, printers, fulfillment houses, digital programmers and social media managers. They also lead project-based cross-disciplinary teams and maintains relationships with internal constituents - from faculty and academic managers to unit-based marketing professionals - providing guidance regarding on-brand marketing solutions. This professional has excellent strategic thinking and counsel, sound judgment and decision-making, an impressive public presence, and the ability to address multiple strategic demands in a complex environment. <br><br> The AVC establishes strategically-driven marketing, public relations, communications and community outreach program for a campus / health system. Develops and oversees multiple departments working to enhance and solidify the identity of the organization and support strategic objectives. Leads communications component of disaster preparedness and oversees crisis response.
