Under the direction of the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, and in support of established seasonal marketing campaigns, goals, and budgets, the Marketing Communications Associate schedules, manages, coordinates, supports areas of marketing communications, including managing email communications, assisting with publications, salesforce and admissions reports, and other marketing efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES E-mail Communications ? Coordinates and executes email communications for marketing and admissions, as well as oversees and consults on email communications and deployment strategies for other enrollment areas. ? Helps to create and edit copy for a wide variety of organizational email communications. ? Edits email and other existing copy as needed to adapt to email formats and accurately proofs all work to adhere to high editorial standards.
Reporting and Analysis Generates monthly reports for marketing through JRM, vendor partners, database and advertising to track: ? Source code report ? Time period inquiries ? Time period applications ? Email campaign response rates ? Helps update and coordinate marketing and admissions communications calendars Admissions marketing support ? Create new program sheets and keeps updated. Coordinate with Marketing Manager to ensure information is consistent on website to mirror updated information. ? Help manage inventory to ensure we are stocked with sufficient quantities of publications ? Helps with updates to partner sites. ? Help with updates to publications and program sheets. ? Works as a liaison with admissions staff and director. Other project and administrative support for Executive Director for Marketing and Communications as needed Qualifications ? Demonstrated written communication skills; preferred, email and education and online directories. ? Proof-reading and editing skills a plus ? Organizational skills, multi-tasking ? Familiar with Salesforce or other CRM email platform. (preferred) ? Familiar with excel ? Experience in creating online and email campaigns ? Familiar with database management and report generation (using excel) ? Two to three years preferred in areas of marketing communications. BS or BA in Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts or related field. (preferred) ? Appreciation of or experience in higher education and areas of communications and marketing ? Email campaign and broadcast creation and management through CRM platforms like Salesforce
