Olympics West is hiring for a PT (20 hours a week) Marketing Assistant.

Purpose:

To work effectively with residents and families to ensure a smooth transition during move-in into the community. To enhance census development and increase private pay referral base in designated facilities through professional relationships, on going education to services and community outreach opportunities.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Direct sales experience with demonstrated results.

  • Experience in a retirement, nursing home, or assisted living industry.

  • Organized team player with the ability to multi-task in a team environment.

  • Proven skills to work independently. Be self motivated and goal-directed.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written communication skills.

  • Must be capable of maintaining regular, reliable attendance.

  • Computer literacy.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide tours and education to visitors.

  • Coordinate move-in with resident and or family by ensuring the room is ready and paperwork is completed accordingly.

  • Communicate move-in info to staff.

  • Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure timely assessments.

  • Participate in local organizations, identified as bringing value, by making presentations and joining as a member where appropriate in order to facilitate a broader knowledge of the assisted living industry and in particular of the community (communities) capabilities.

  • Participate as an active leader in the community relating to strategic planning for the developments of marketing action plan and related sales efforts. As time allows, participate in weekly department head meetings and provide support and direction in achieving overall occupancy goals and programs to address any new needs or changing needs within the service area. Attend community special events to increase awareness among potential referral sources and customers.

  • Prepare reports as required.

  • Develop and implement special events and presentations targeted as community education, establishing and maintaining status for the community as the expert on assisted living.

  • Monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction. Share results with the Administrator and staff. Work as part of the team to develop appropriate plans to continually improve satisfaction levels.

  • Serve as a member of the marketing team whose purpose is to improve occupancy and enhance resident and community relations. Attend weekly meetings; assist in implementation of quarterly marketing plan, monitor budgets and track results.

  • Develop and implement special events and presentations targeted at community education, establishing and maintaining status for the facility as the expert on assisted living.

  • Assist with follow up activities as assigned.

Assist Customer Service

  • Assist the Administrator in ensuring that all employees are providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Other

  • Follow and communicate company policies and procedures.

The Assistant Director of Enterprise Applications is a senior-level manager position that oversees a full suite of IT application services that include the following areas: * Application Development * Tolling IT Operations * Financial * Administrative and Executive Applications * Statewide Travel and Collision Data Office (STCDO) * Application Support & Development * WSDOT Web Site Development and Support * Vendor Applications Support The Assistant Director of Enterprise Applications assures that technology is effectively employed which involves knowing both the business and technology, and working to coordinate standards statewide. As the Director, you will set course of action and policy regarding the collection, storage, distribution, security and access of data. The services provided within this organization are the means for WSDOT to handle changing business needs and increasing demands. Among the varied range of responsibilities held within this role, this Assistant Director will: * Direct policy development and operations for development and maintenance of business software, and data management * Provide administrative direction and guidance to multiple, varied work units in the development, maintenance, enhancement and integration for computer applications and databases * Assess the administration and efficiency of vendor/consultant agreements to consolidate resources and effectiveness * Provide interpretation and implementation of industry, federal, local, and state information technology policies, laws and practices * Develop long-range strategic plans and budgets for statewide systems, for management approval * Participate as a member of the agency's strategic plan planning and implementation team At a minimum, the ideal candidate for this position will possess: * Ten (10) years of experience in information technology, project management methodologies, application development and maintenance methodologies, including development, implementation and maintenance of systems across multiple hardware and software platforms * Five (5) years of supervisory experience In addition to: * Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) methods and best practices * Knowledge of IT acquisition process * Knowledge of current information technology innovations and methods, feasibility studies, and architecture standards * Knowledge of Information Technology strategic planning, consulting, and deployment strategies * In-depth knowledge of information systems technologies, including internet based technologies * Experience in application development to aid in developing and implementing strategic and business planning for the agency's information technology resources * Experience developing strategic plans, policies, and procedures The most desirable candidate will also have: * Degree in Computer Science, including courses in programming, data structures, system design and logic. * Experience preparing operational budgets * Experience with large multi-agency projects At WSDOT, we value the importance of creating an environment in which all employees feel respected, included, and empowered to bring unique ideas to the agency.
