This position is located in our Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Tampa, Wilmington, Phoenix, Raleigh and should reside within reasonable commuting distance to the home office as occasional in-person meetings will be necessary.

The Marketing Department works alongside practice group and sector leaders, partners, marketing leadership, and other senior-level firm stakeholders (US and Global) to develop, implement, and execute an innovative marketing strategy to support the growth and retention of existing client relationships, to develop and maintain the DLA Piper brand, and to drive awareness and favorability of our practice and sector expertise in the market.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma

  • 1 year experience in a related professional office setting

  • Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook;

  • Experience with website editing and databases

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in Sitecore or other similar web platform is a plus

  • Experience using ServiceNow or other similar digital workflow platform

What will your day look like?

As a professional in this role, your day would be filled with a variety of tasks that keep you engaged and challenged.

You would start your day by fulfilling general marketing requests. This could involve updating attorney website bios, ensuring they accurately represent each attorney's skills and experience. You would also spend time researching internal and external databases, gathering valuable data that can be used to inform marketing strategies.

Maintaining databases of marketing collateral and firm experience would be another key part of your day. This involves ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible for future reference. You would also be responsible for generating reports that provide insights into the firm's marketing efforts and outcomes.

Throughout the day, you would monitor and respond to requests received via phone and email. Providing excellent customer service is a priority, and you would strive to address all requests in a timely and efficient manner.

When specific requests come in, you would use your knowledge of the team's procedure manual to escalate these to the proper person or group. This ensures that all requests are handled by the most qualified individuals.

In addition to these tasks, you would provide support for additional marketing-related projects as needed. This could involve anything from assisting with a new marketing campaign to helping organize a client event.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
