The Cape May Brewing Company Marketing Assistant is a paid, full-time position where the candidate will have ownership of specific duties and contribute valuable and meaningful work to the company.
A love and passion for beer and people are required.
You will work closely with the Marketing Director on day-to-day communications strategies and initiatives including, but not limited to: Social Media/Digital MarketingAssist in driving the maintenance and management of all digital efforts including real-time monitoring and engagement, consumer and cultural trend-spotting, and development and execution of social content planning.Communicate closely among marketing team, and collaborate and contribute to integrated marketing campaign brainstorms
Assist Social Media Coordinator in creating meaningful content to increase fan engagement
Analyze social media statistics to help determine the success of a campaign or post
Support tasting room/sales/marketing graphic design requests as needed.Event MarketingAssists in-house Events Coordinator with database entry, scheduling, assembling and vetting donations, and day-of-event tasting room needs.
Research and evaluate beer-oriented events both regionally and nationally.Public RelationsAssist in researching and drafting various press materials, pitches, newsletter stories, blog posts, etc.Monitor, track, and manage media coverage.Assist in writing and maintaining CMBC website content as assigned.Support Public Relations in responding to media and sponsorship inquiries and managing film shoots as assigned.Attend and actively participate in department and staff meetings, industry meetings and company events and festivals.Responsible for some photo documentation and cataloging of day-to-day brewery updates, events, festivals, etc.Product MarketingParticipate in taking a new product or idea from conception to launch
Act as a liaison between sales and marketing assisting in planning, executing, documenting and tracking various promotions Research target markets and demographics and then craft custom marketing campaigns for both new and current products
Think outside the box to release and market our products in a fresh, attention-getting way
