Hitachi America's Social Innovation Business (SIB) is searching for an experienced Marketing Manager to work within the Solution Enablement team on all global sales and marketing programs. Working directly with the SVP/CCOs in America's, the Global Marketing Manager will lead sponsorship marketing programs, develop and manage the creation of quality sales & marketing materials, manage event coordination, and support the digital media reach for the global subject matter experts aligning with Hitachi's Global Brand Guidelines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop America's marketing and sales strategy for SIB in conjunction with CCOs.
Coordinate with CCOs/SVPs across the SIB organization to create sales materials from solution overviews to client facing materials to support sales activities.
Coordinate with various global Hitachi group Branding & Corporate Communications Groups on all sales and marketing efforts.
Build relationships and processes to collaborate and support sales pursuits across the Hitachi group companies
Provide training and support for all end users for the Sales Enablement website
Develop and implement event strategy to support business development efforts
Identify, recommend and develop sales enablement and content development projects.
Track and evaluate deliverables of all phases sales and marketing material projects
Define detailed project plans for all launches and coordinated event activities.
Assist with all technical questions relating to websites.
Work in partnership with Hitachi Global Brand teams for development and upgrade of global websites, infrastructure and architecture, including creation of new brand content.
Evaluate, manage, and contract with outside vendors for content production (video, writing, creative)
Provide ROI and reporting on all sales and pursuit activities to the CCOs located across the globe.
Support other marketing activities, as needed, including but not limited to events and alliances.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Technology, or Media
9-11 years of professional marketing and sales enablement experience including
o Developing and managing effective and innovative B2B sales & marketing materials
o Development of go to market messaging and approaches for product launches
o Graphic design, infographics, & content development
o Knowledge of social media tools including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn etc. as well as SEO, tagging, and emerging technologies
Expert knowledge B-to-B marketing principles and account-based marketing, preferably for a technology or product company
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills are required.
Proven ability to convert engineering and technical content into quality marketing messages.
Comfort with presenting and working directly with C-suite resources.
Experience with video scripting and production
Demonstrated success leading through influence and building rapport quickly
Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is required.
Ability to travel 10% of the time both domestically and internationally is required.
