PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As the enabler of the Experience Company powered by the Intelligent Enterprise, SAP Digital Business Services helps our customers run at their best. We enable customer success through SAP solution expertise and industry insights developed from 47 years of SAP delivery experience working across 25 industries. Our services, support, and intelligent tools guide, simplify, and accelerate our customer's journey to become an Experience Company.
The SAP DBS Solution Marketing team is the official marketing team of SAP Digital Business Services. All classical marketing activities belong to the responsibilities of our team. We are working hand-in-hand with all lines of businesses of SAP DBS. We are creating all required official assets (all kind of formats: presentations, brochures, infographics) describing the value of our strategic portfolio elements. In addition, we are producing videos either through our own video production team and studio or we are working together with external agencies. We create customer references (written and video references) in alignment with the storytelling team, but fully focused on the value provided by SAP DBS. Further it is our responsibility to drive professional external communications (e.g. press releases, thought leadership articles and blogs, expert articles and interviews). This also includes social media where we have our own official channels for SAP DBS with more than 150,000 followers. We ensure the inclusion of SAP DBS into SAP key events (e.g. SAPPHIRE NOW, SAP TechEds,). And finally, we are driving awareness and demand generating campaigns.
We are a small and international team of service architects, designers, support experts, communication professionals, and marketing specialists.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
This role will be part of the NA office of the SAP DBS Solution Marketing team. In this role you will be the interface between the regional SAP DBS team located in NA and the global SAP DBS Solution Marketing team. The final focus areas will depend on your talents, capabilities and your bandwidth.
Act as liaison between regional SAP DBS executives and teams and global SAP DBS Solution Marketing team
Ensure that SAP DBS is integrated into SAP key events such as SAPPHIRE NOW, SAP TechED, SAP NOW, etc. and support the preparation and execution of these events as well as smaller regional events, including SAP S-KOM NA
Coordinate with NA DBS teams as well as the global SAP DBS Solution and Marketing team to ensure proper DBS content and representation at all events
Drive any NA DBS standalone event including content, speakers, audience acquisition, logistics, etc.
Ensure internal awareness of available assets, global communications, campaigns or events / gather regional feedback for further improvements
You may take over the responsibility as marketing lead for a key strategic portfolio element which would include content creation supporting GTM readiness including stakeholder alignments
Develop and drive the planning and execution of a marketing plan
Prepare and execute external communications including social media
Support the creation of customer references and help drive reference marketing
Help prepare and execute demand generation campaigns
Project management skills, competencies in multi-tasking management
Self-starter with ability to deliver results who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative services and support environment.
Excellent communication skills in order to interact and collaborate with diverse project teams / stakeholders, including executive management, and external customers

Strong command of English language (additional languages welcome)

Proficiency in all MS Office tools
From 5 to 10 years' experience in marketing, communications, professional services or support
Previous experience with event planning and execution for events both large and small
Extensive experience communicating and collaborating with executive leadership, peers, and customers
Proven ability to drive projects and lead without authority
Experienced in story-telling and PPT design
