Providence is calling a Marketing and Communication Specialist PSJH to Providence Health & Services in Irvine, CA.
We are seeking a Marketing and Communication Specialist PSJH to be responsible for executing tasks for assigned projects and activities in support of region-focused marketing, communication and public relations activities. The Marketing and Communication Specialist focuses on implementing marketing and communication plans, and is dedicated to projects within that region. This role requires competence in all marketing and communication functions that are performed within a region, and knowledge of the strategies, objectives, needs and channels within the region.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day marketing activities
Serve as a contact for internal and external clients
Manage projects through the production process
Write for caregiver communications, blogs, newsletters or PR activities
Report on project or campaign status
Conduct market research
Execute communication plans
Support and execute community relations activities
Execute community partnership programs
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in In Marketing, Business, or related field.
Overall business knowledge.
Superior teamwork skills with the ability to inspire other and to act independently with minimal direction.
Results Driven. Demonstrated success defining and launching meaningful and lasting messaging to achieve sales and net operations income results.
Ability to demonstrated successful strategic thinking, planning and project management skills.
Ability to work with internal and external creative resources efficiently and effectively.
Knowledge and experience working with print media, public relations, trade shows, retail merchandising, collateral, social media metrics and online platforms.
Outstanding analytical ability and problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentation required. Accomplished listener, able to respond to results and consumer research.
Ability to create strong, strategic business relationships across a multi-state organization.
Organized and methodical with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time; work well under pressure.
Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
2-4 years' experience marketing in health care environments
2-4 years' experience communication and public relations strategies in health care companies
Direct experience in internal communications, public relations, consumer marketing and/or brand development and execution
