Zurich is currently looking for Marketing and Communication Intern to work out of our Schaumburg, IL, office for Summer 2021. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in Commercial Insurance!
Our interns will work under immediate supervision and will perform requested tasks alongside professionals who perform these roles. Generally, this position is part of a program with an assigned mentor. As a Zurich Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain career-building experience with an industry-leading global insurance company.
They will be part of North America Marketing & Communications team, part of a strategic marketing team developing to-to-market strategies for specific industries. They will work on competitive analysis (LOB, company, messaging, GTM, etc.), focusing on developing increased intelligence on customer segments. Interns will be immersed in industries and business units and will contribute by developing customer journeys of contact strategies for digital communication and face-to-face events, with the goal of impacting demand generation and retention.

Digital Campaign development
Develop content contact journeys
Currently enrolled in a college or university program and will be enrolled in the upcoming Fall Semester 2021
Two or more years of college coursework (should be a rising Junior or Senior) OR
Zurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and no prior experience required in the administrative area
Minimum cumulative GPA average of 3.0 (current GPA reported by your school)
Be legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely
Microsoft Office experience
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related major
Demonstrates problem solving skills in a customer focused environment
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience
Self-motivated and able to work independently
