As a Marketing Analytics Program Manager, you will help align marketing, analytics, data engineering, product and technology teams to enable Northwestern Mutual to achieve its marketing vision & strategy. You will be instrumental in bringing all parties to consensus on approach, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
You will work to scope, clarify & evaluate new and existing initiatives, and ensure there is shared understanding of the need and requirements driving the request. You will work to gather benefits & feasibility of initiatives, and then socialize and prioritize across marketing key stakeholders. You will work to re-shape the program road-map, prioritize projects across teams and ensure timelines are adhered to.
The right candidate will have a solid understanding of marketing principles, terminology and performance metrics across online and offline channels (email, social media, display, direct mail, website, etc)., especially as it relates to measurement and analytics, and will manage a portfolio of initiatives across the teams.
Translate marketing needs and requests into appropriate action steps through full assessment of requirements. Develop project plans and associated timelines.
Own all aspects of sprint management, including ticket intake, maintenance and backlog grooming. Manage full execution of all requests ensuring all parties are informed on scope, delivery and timelines.
Own readouts on the status of deliverables as well as collect and manage risks
Ability to take marketing list or insights requests and translate into appropriate campaign set-up, testing design and measurement output.
Act as the business owner for data feeds and transfers, working with internal teams and 3rd parties as needed
Ensure proper QA process is actively implemented across all initiatives
Ensure all parties are tracking to timelines and keep teams abreast as changes occur
Experience working with marketing organizations that deploy complex multi-channel marketing campaigns
Excellent communications skills, both verbal & written, with an ability to speak to different levels of the organization.
Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms, Adobe / Google Analytics, Salesforce, or similar.
High level of assertiveness & sense of urgency.
Familiar with various project management methodologies including agile and waterfall.
Detail-oriented and deadline driven.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence a plus.
