Focused on performance and innovation within the marketing analytics function, this role is responsible for collaborating closely with stakeholders across IMC to manage the technology driving marketing analytics and related data. This role will oversee the analytics technology associated with digital marketing, advise and develop advancement in the tools, as well as improve and increase the data captured across digital marketing with a strong focus on our external facing website, This role will also work closely with other marketing technology owners to influence the connectivity of data capture across technology systems with IMC and can be in any RSM US location.

Essential Duties:

  • Technology Management - responsible for the day to day management of the marketing analytics technology platform. Will ensure both consistency in technology performance and reliability to data accuracy and data delivery. Will also maintain a focus on future state analytics technology to ensure the function of marketing analytics remains supportive of the IMC demand generation initiatives.

  • Data Capture - responsible for reliability and accuracy of all data collection via the marketing analytics platform in its current state. Additionally, responsible for advancing what, and how, addition data is captured to advance the more holistic view of our target behaviors online.

  • Driving Marketing Analytics Advancement - plays a key part of the marketing analytics team in identifying gaps in our data capture, insights delivery, and target behavior insights. Works closely with the marketing analytics team to influence the advancement of the analytics function in developing solutions for reporting, access, automation, and system connectivity within the analytics strategy and roadmap.

  • IMC Insights Vision - participates in driving the vision for a unified vision for target behavior and demand generation performance relative to digital marketing analytics. Serves as the digital marketing analytics technology expert within in the context of that vision and performance development tasks with marketing analytics to bring that vision to life.

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business, economics, or computer science preferred, an MBA is a plus


  • 3+ years of Marketing, Communications or related experience, preferred

  • Highly organized individual with the ability to manage multiple items at various stages, required

  • Marketing experience within a professional services environment, preferred

  • Experience with technology development projects and development of analytics platforms, preferred

Technical/Soft Skills:

  • Experienced in digital marketing and digital marketing operations, required

  • Experience developing marketing performance reports and reporting suites preferred

  • Sound understanding of measurements and metrics applicable to digital marketing and ability to analyze data and develop recommendations to improve marketing performance, preferred

  • Experience working with JavaScript and PHP coding within analytics tagging environments, preferred

  • Experience working within Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch platforms, required

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and consult effectively with employees at all levels, preferred

  • Comfortable working and collaborating with team members virtually, required

  • Attention to detail, required

Leadership Skills:

  • Self-directed and able to independently create solutions, required

  • Understands when to be collaborative and when to seek help, required

  • Has a passion for data and digital marketing and spends time self-educating, and actively shares learnings with colleagues and stakeholders, preferred

Scope & Complexity As an individual contributor the Commercial Analytics Analyst II - Research and Development works on moderately complex to complex data analysis problems. This role with a limited level of supervision runs projects that enable the analytics team to create driven solutions to business problems. Key Duties * Support development of models and forecasts (for example, the company's revenue forecast or customer segmentation model). * Responsible for continuously improving forecasts, models, and measurement methods in strategic and planning processes. * With limited direction from the Manager, Commercial Analytics, define and develop KPIs, forecasts, and metrics to guide the business's strategic initiatives. * Design and create tools, processes, and analyses that assist the team and stakeholders in executing and measuring strategies on a recurring and ad-hoc basis. * Apply data analytics methodologies to manipulate a variety of large and moderately complex to complex datasets to draw key findings. * Make recommendations based on trends and findings to stakeholders in a concise and effective manner. * Maintain knowledge of all available data sources used in forecasting, modeling, and measurement of company initiatives (e-Commerce, customer, flight, etc.). Job-Specific Skills, Experience & Education Required * A minimum of 2 years of experience in modeling, statistics, or optimization techniques, including the use of said techniques with very large quantities of data to solve real-world business problems. * Bachelor's degree in business, math, economics, engineering or other fields of a technical nature, or an additional two years of training/experience in lieu of this degree. * Experience using software or tools on large sets of data to model and analyze complex problems. * SQL experience manipulating large data sets. * Experience with open-ended and leveraged technical projects with hard deadlines. * Outstanding communication (e.g., verbal, written, and listening) and presentation skills. * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and utilizing PowerPoint to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences. Preferred * A minimum of 1 year of airline industry experience. * Experience in airline revenue management, pricing, customer analytics, and/or demand modeling * Tableau (or other similar data visualization software) experience. * Experience with Alteryx.
