The Marketing Analyst will support the Brand Marketing & Strategy team in driving CRM initiatives. The successful candidate will analyze client data and client multi-channel journeys to drive and inform client development strategies and tactics. He/she will assist with CDP and Marketing automation integrations and reporting.
The Marketing Analyst will be responsible for creating database segments, automating flows, managing lead generation process, and data hygiene strategy and reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Generate customer segmentation for email marketing, direct mail marketing, online marketing, and other marketing efforts.
Develop a keen understanding of marketing automation platform and data which supports Spectrum Reach marketing initiatives, contributing regularly to enhance the data.
Coordinate the collection and analyses of data from multiple sources including marketing automation platforms, D&B Rev Up / CDP, CRM, at both the enterprise and the divisional levels.
Perform functional and technical configuration activities for solution based on documented requirements.
Create segmentation lists/ data extensions for external/internal communications on enterprise and division levels.
Develop and maintain cross-channel lifecycle marketing campaigns and journeys.
Partner with the Field Marketing Team to assist with list and lead management, help them develop and execute engaging campaigns that maximize client retention and loyalty.
Assist the Brand Marketing & Strategy team in data reporting and analysis for optimizing marketing strategy across a variety of platforms and channels.
Collaborate with business leaders to enhance the 360 view of the various client segments' lifecycle programs and increase adoption of client first marketing approach.
Articulate and present data and learnings effectively to the team and to key stakeholders
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to use personal computer and software applications: Advanced Excel including complex formulas, VLOOKUP tables, Pivot tables, SQL queries & SQLServer, MS Access database
Knowledge of Salesforce.com, Pardot, Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms, and other database programs preferred
Knowledge of Alteryx or similar flow management solution preferred
Ability to analyze and interpret information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to integrate information from multiple sources
Ability to write data queries utilizing multiple tools in order to perform data analyses
Knowledge of cable TV and digital media industry a plus
Knowledge of marketing research, data analysis, and related functions preferred
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience
