Marketing Analyst

Our client, a private equity firm and leading capital partner for North American middle market companies is hiring a Market Analyst.

This role is responsible for performing research, analyzing and manipulating large data sets to tease out trends, glean insights, and articulate storylines to support decision making across business units, with a particular focus on sourcing deal flow.

The Analyst will develop and manage reports, analyses, dashboards, and presentations associated with the new deal pipeline, all of which enable our Client to execute successfully on its Buy & Build strategy. Additionally, the Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the new deal pipeline data.

  • You must have strong research, data analytic, and communication skills, while being able to apply creativity to problem solving and be comfortable working with all levels within the organization.
  • 2+ years experience in an analytical, data-intensive role, preferably in financial services or consulting
  • Be an expert in database management and CRM functionality
  • Have strong organizational skills and ability to balance short-and long-term deadline
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Excel formulas such as vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with Tableau or PowerBI a plus
