Job Title: Marketing Analyst

Location: Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 / New York, NY 10007 (Hybrid - 2x/week in office, Tues/Weds, but it may shift occasionally based on business needs)

As a Contractor on the Marketing Activation team, candidate's responsibilities will include:

• Ownership of end-to-end marketing plan and outcomes for CMO organization, including: strategic direction, narrative, planning, and process for all MarCom initiatives.

• Decide final components to deliver against brief in partnership with Consumer Integrated Marketing.

• Commission creative, PR, media, engagement, CX, VBM and local/field marketing to execute on marketing plan elements, based on strategy.

• Tracking performance and asserting recommendations for marketing plan enhancements to help meet business targets.

Specifically, on the Consumer Home Marketing Activation team, in this role, candidate will need to:

• Develop and own the strategic narrative on a number of key initiatives to drive demand for Client's Consumer Home category.

• Understand the nuances of key customer segments and home competition within key DMAs.

• Monitor and remain accountable to key KPIs (e.g. ,business results, in-market performance, brand health metrics).

• Partner with CMO peer teams and business unit stakeholders to develop fully-optimized marketing plans, and oversee end-to-end programs through project life cycle.

Candidate will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Market Research or four or more years of relevant work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant work experience in brand building, storytelling, owning/driving strategic initiatives, or overseeing end-to-end marketing plans.

• The ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• The ability to translate market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the business teams.

• Skill in analyzing what's important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities.

• Excellent communications skills to articulate plan recommendations and drive alignment with key stakeholders.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Master's degree.

• Digital experience of trends and key business drivers.

• Skill in designing custom research approaches to gain broader or deeper consumer and market insights.

Note:

• In this hybrid role, candidate will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager in either the NYC or Basking Ridge, NJ locations.

• Second location is an option for in-office days: 140 West Street, NYC Average of 2x/week in office.

• Regularly scheduled days are Tues/Weds, but it may shift occasionally based on business needs.

Pay Range: $50 - $55

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
