The overall purpose of the Marketing/Admissions position is to communicate the value of the facility to the community as well as providing accuracy of applications for patient admissions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop marketing materials needed for sales and promotion of the facility.
Cultivates referrals/inquiries through business development tactics.
Communicating the value of the facility to the community.
Send letters and/or information packets in response to inquiries about future potential patient admission.
Communicates in a positive manner to hospital discharge planners and builds referral sources relationships.
Interview applicants and/or their representatives and complete applications for admissions.
Works with personnel to discuss placement when multiple beds are available.
Providing tours of the facility to the families of potential residents.
Preforms other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS
Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
Minimum one (1) year job experience in Marketing/Admissions position in a healthcare environment.
Comply with the Residents' Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.
Must be detail oriented and have excellent customer service skills.
Friendly, responsible, dependable, team-oriented.
