The overall purpose of the Marketing/Admissions position is to communicate the value of the facility to the community as well as providing accuracy of applications for patient admissions.


  • Develop marketing materials needed for sales and promotion of the facility.

  • Cultivates referrals/inquiries through business development tactics.

  • Communicating the value of the facility to the community.

  • Send letters and/or information packets in response to inquiries about future potential patient admission.

  • Communicates in a positive manner to hospital discharge planners and builds referral sources relationships.

  • Interview applicants and/or their representatives and complete applications for admissions.

  • Works with personnel to discuss placement when multiple beds are available.

  • Providing tours of the facility to the families of potential residents.

  • Preforms other duties as assigned.


  • Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.

  • Minimum one (1) year job experience in Marketing/Admissions position in a healthcare environment.

  • Comply with the Residents' Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.

  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent customer service skills.

  • Friendly, responsible, dependable, team-oriented.

VIEW JOBS 3/5/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-03T00:00 JOB SUMMARY The primary purpose of the Admissions Coordinator is to drive the facility's inquiry and admission process and provide customers with facility-related information via facility tours, personal visits/assessments, conversations, presentations and follow up. This key individual is responsible for creating positive working relationships with key referral partners and referral influencers in the medical community and the community at large through marketing initiatives and messaging, outcomes, services, and amenities, and monthly event planning. The Admissions Coordinator manages the inquiry process professionally, timely and with appropriate follow up. As well as manages occupancy levels, bed management, and census/premium mix enhancement. QUALIFICATIONS The following is a general list of key job/physical requirements for your position. The list is not to be considered inclusive and other job/physical requirements may be necessary as deemed by the Community. * BS/BA Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Psychology preferred but not required. * If required to operate a motor vehicle for business purposes, must successfully complete the requirements contained in Community's Motor Vehicles policy. * Must have basic computer skills. · Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. * Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary. · Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations. * Must be able to perform the essential position functions of the job with, or without reasonable accommodation. * Must be able to meet the general health requirements set forth by State regulations and Community policy which may include medical and physical examinations. * Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 15 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such a weight a minimum distance of 4 feet. * Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting, and perform other common physical movements as needed for your position. * Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the Community. * Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
