The Marketing Account Manager provides a single point of contact and concierge experience for project stakeholders and clients. Working in tandem with a project manager, will oversee all aspects of a project or initiative from inception, through deliverables for the entire MarCom team. Additionally, this role will set the bar for collaboration and agile management as we seek to continually refine the MarCom department's ability to execute on projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams (pods) in the strategic development, planning, execution, and evaluation of company marketing strategies. This includes overseeing a portfolio of assigned initiatives, projects, and clients and serving as the lead point of contact.

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of promised solutions and initiatives according to company needs and objectives, while providing regular updates to various stakeholders.

  • Manage client input and feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines.

  • Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of each project/initiative assigned through assessing the applicable audience, marketplace, product/service being offered, key value proposition, points of differentiation, opportunity for growth, competitive landscape, etc

  • Understand and lead in developing KPIs and outcomes for each project to ensure the results of the work move the needle forward on organizational objectives.

  • Develop, create, and revise project briefs highlighting client needs throughout lifespan of the project.

  • Work with various MarCom SMEs and directors to assign the best team members for the project.

  • Assist in building and leading a cross-functional team (pod) to meet or exceed KPIs and objectives.

  • Understand (broadly) the organization's various audiences and segments and help coach stakeholders on how to better engage those audiences and utilize business models to determine effective and efficient mobilization strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related degree, preferred

  • At least 3 years of marketing, brand and/or communications experience

  • Experience with test marketing and business models, work within relational networks, develop strategies

  • Proven experience with Lean Project Management, Web-based project management software.

  • Strong ability to understand marketing and communications KPIs and derive performance insights

  • Effective, clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills
