We are expanding its primary market research capability as we fulfill our mission to help the people we serve by providing them with knowledge, insights, and implications. Global Market Research and Insights (GMRI) is a central, shared research and analytical center of excellence that supports fact-based decision making. Members of the team serve across our business lines and have the opportunity to develop core competencies, such as segmentation, value proposition development, brand positioning and tracking, advertising and creative evaluation, and satisfaction enhancement. We seek to partner with our internal clients and business across several areas:

  • Identifying new business opportunities and areas for business growth

  • Understanding the needs expectations of consumer, clients and brokers

  • Evaluating customer loyalty / satisfaction to inform customer experience priorities

  • Designing and assessing products, services and channel approaches

  • Tracking brand performance and recommending course adjustment

  • Building our brand positioning and relevancy

The Role

The Market Research Senior Specialist will report to GMRI leadership and will be responsible for supporting multiple internal clients and a variety of key initiatives. The Senior Specialist will develop and drive a research agenda to support insight development and communication to internal stakeholders. The role collaborates across all levels of the organization to define business and research objectives and recommend and execute appropriate research designs. Ultimately, the Senior Specialist ensures research is conducted with business actions in mind, at the highest quality levels to build trust and confidence in the insights and implications that support key business decisions.

In addition, this position will be responsible for:

  • Quality control

  • Vendor management

  • Compliance with internal and external regulations

  • Keeping up to date on latest methodologies and technology

  • Synthesis of insights across multiple projects, sources etc.

  • Clear and convincing communication of insights

  • Other relevant tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • End-to-end research management experience: engage stakeholders in research planning, design, execute, analyze, present findings and drive insights to actions

  • Merge data from different sources to conduct analysis and identify insights

  • Proven experience managing and extracting insights from both quantitative and qualitative researches

  • Proven experience managing research vendors

  • Bachelor's degree

  • A minimum of 5 years market research experience

  • Proficient with cleaning data and running basic analysis using Excel e.g. using vlookup, pivot table, and running correlation

  • Proficient with creating impactful presentations from scratch (run analysis, chart, and write up recommendations)

  • Comfortable leading in a highly collaborative setting, ability to effectively influence and work with senior leaders

  • Track record in driving a research agenda with real impact in a complex and matrixed business environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in both consumer and B2B research

  • Understanding of health industry or broader financial services

  • Experience with rendering insights using Tableau

  • Influential and impactful presentation and communication skills

  • Experience with programming surveys and creating dashboards on Qualtrics platform
