Enterprise Market Research (EMR) provides internal clients with objective, credible insights to help profitably grow the business, build the brand and positively position Travelers in the marketplace. This position is responsible for providing strategic direction over research agenda development, planning, and execution of primary market research studies in support of Travelers businesses and functional areas with a focus on brand, advertising, digital marketing and communications. The position reports to the 2nd Vice President of Enterprise Market Research and has extensive interaction with the EMR leadership team, the department head and internal clients. Education, Work Experience & Knowledge 8 years of experience in market research and/or related fields preferred Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, data analytics or other relevant degree; MBA or other advanced degrees preferred Strong understanding of and experience with research methods, survey design, and a working knowledge of statistical and sampling methods and their appropriate applications Strategic and critical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills Ability to effectively interact with and influence management audiences Demonstrated ability to build productive working relationships across functional areas Physical Requirements Operates standard office equipment (Frequently) Sitting (can stand at will) (Frequently) Use of Keyboards, Sporadic 10-Key (Frequently) Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of market research or related experience.
