Role and Responsibilities


We are looking for an exceptional market analyst dedicated to high performance, personal excellence and a strong work ethic. This person will study market conditions, both internally and externally, to examine potential sales of products or services to enable us to understand the market size, for various categories, as well as our positioning within the market. This person will be able to identify what customers want, who will purchase them, and at what price. In addition, they will be expected to provide input and insight to the tactical and strategic functions of CAE Healthcare to ultimately aid in our ability to drive increased revenue, profitability, as well as market share.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in current market analysis theory and practice, bringing real data and insight to the table. Able to work autonomously as well in a cross-functional team. This position reports to the FP&A Manager and will work closely with the Product Management & Marketing Teams.


  • Conduct periodic analysis of the macro environment to anticipate global trends affecting CAE Healthcare's strategic priorities.

  • Using Salesforce and other sources, produce reports and analyses of CAE Healthcare product line performance, market share and sales channel performance.

  • Provide thorough competitor analysis; financial performance, market share, portfolio analysis and downstream marketing activity.

  • Through a variety of sources, collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets, market segments and factors affecting product demand.

  • Lead and conduct market research activities in the form of telephone interviews, internet surveys, or mailed questionnaires. This would also include gathering secondary market data from public sources such as government and university reports, company literature, internet sources, and syndicated data resources.

  • Help achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives by recommending and/or contributing to the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Measure and evaluate efficiency/impact of marketing spend and tactics (ROI)

  • Provide information, insights, and recommendations to product management team on new product development and other opportunities.

  • Evaluate data using statistical techniques and software, and then interpret what the data means to help determine potential markets, product demand, and pricing.

  • Maintain the highest standards of integrity and respect for co-workers and customers.


  • The position is based in the CAE offices in Sarasota, Florida, U.S.A.

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business Management, Economics, Information Science, Marketing, or similar field.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a marketing or business analysis function is required.

  • Knowledge of the healthcare field, medical device or medical simulation industries is preferred.

  • Excellent listening, presentation and communications skills.

  • Computer literacy is essential. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with a major CRM system is required; Salesforce is preferred.

  • Awareness and utilization of latest marketing analytics tools.

  • Proficient with statistical, financial and mathematical concepts.

  • Ability to articulate/ synthesize large amount of information.

  • Ability to research and mine market data from external sources.

  • Problem solver who uses a combination of standard procedures, modification of standard procedures, or methods developed in previous assignments.

  • Strong Analytical Skills the ability to understand large amounts of data and information to find trends and look for anomalies.

  • Strong Communication Skills strong communication skills when gathering information, interpreting data, and presenting insights to our team to influence decision making.

  • Strong Critical Thinking Skills ability to assess all available information to determine what strategy would be best, and make recommendations to management.

  • Detail Oriented ability to perform precise data analysis.

  • Maintain security of all proprietary information.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.

Write C# automation scripts on a daily basis and executes in different environments, works closely with pre-deployment testing, works with different team members and writes business logic for the automation framework to execute automation. Creates and maintains test automation deliverables and artifacts (test plans, test cases, and test results summary). Writes code to develop lead testing and performance testing using Jmeter and fiddler. Validates all environment dashboards in Splunk, writes queries in Splunk to verify performance and load testing results, helps to identify root cause and provide tuning recommendations. Creates and maintains automation smoke tests for assigned projects. Writes shell scripts to create bash commands for reporting and sending automated emails.
