World Vision is looking for a Market Research Analyst
The Market Research Analyst will conduct research and analysis as assigned on varying topics and report findings and recommendations to clients. Help carry out our Christian organization's mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.
Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer.
Conduct research and analysis and prepare detailed subject profiles for clients.
Develop and present strategies based on research findings.
Consult with internal stakeholders to identify and articulate the key donor and market research questions and objectives and translate into requests-for-proposals for third party agencies.
Support market research projects from beginning to end, demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.
Understand and execute relevant methodologies, including quantitative, qualitative, and other market research methodologies in line with short and long-term corporate goals.
Participate in intra- and cross-departmental teams as necessary.
Develop and design market research questionnaires and program them into online survey tools as necessary.
Produce one-off management reports and presentations.
Develop key finding reports and presentations in meaningful ways for appropriate audience level
Conduct competitive tracking and analysis.
Coordinate research efforts throughout the various departments, working closely with staff leadership.
Identify appropriate resources for solving individual research problems and respond to quick reference research requests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of a team.
Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.
Marketing Research Methods: Designs marketing research studies that obtain valid and reliable information in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible. Knows strengths and weaknesses of different sampling methods and selects data sources that are appropriate for the research design. Distinguishes between qualitative and quantitative data collection methods and knows when to use each method (i.e., focus groups, surveys, secondary research, etc.). Carefully constructs measurement instruments, such as surveys, so that they measure and predict human behavior and thought processes accurately.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience. In addition to eduction or educational equivalent, requires work experience in research, databases, or a related area; 2-3 years.
