Overview:

MasterCard is leading the digital transformation of the payments space. Core to our strategy is the execution of MasterPass and tokenization and its role in the enablement of next-generation, seamless and delightful digital and shopping experiences.

The US Digital Payments group and within that, the NAM MDES/MasterPass team is responsible for bringing our products to market. This is accomplished is by driving cross functional initiatives and ensuring the Global product strategy is adapted to include US needs and requirements. This role will be responsible for supporting the NAM commercialization team, which would include executing strategies to ensure customer (issuers and merchants) and end consumer activation and adoption.

Role:

Support NAM Digital Payments priorities and goals, providing digital Payment subject matter expertise

  • Develop and execute regional commercialization strategies related to IoT initiative; including scaling existing products, new product development and evaluating new business opportunities

  • Lead regional effort of expanding Mastercard's digital vendor program to scale Mastercard's products & services

  • Own go-to-market initiatives in North America for new digital commerce solutions, including IoT and mobile wallet launches

  • Provide technical and business input as it relates to digital payment platforms and enhancements

Conduct market development activities and drive market preparation activities, translating marketing needs and strategy to sales strategies and channel management approaches if appropriate

About You:

  • Knowledge of e/m commerce and emerging payments landscape

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, and a changing and fast-paced environment

  • Self-starter with ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities with limited direction

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and teams effectively, delivering results

  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to tackle complex problems

  • Ability to set and meet deadlines

  • Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills clarity of thought, articulate, able to capture and reflect complex topics in simple terms

  • Detail oriented and high standards for quality

  • Ability to "connect the dots" between consumer trends, unmet needs, and technology to identify new opportunities & solutions

  • Laser focus on the customer and consumer and advocate for the user experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience; advanced degree desired

  • Prior experience from either management consulting , payments industry, fintech, IoT, ecommerce or financial services with focus on experience in product management, project management, loyalty, marketing, strategy

Key skills & capabilities that will be developed/strengthened upon completion of this role:

Digital Product Management, Project Management, Analytics, Research, analysis of E/M commerce landscape, ecommerce trend analysis, creation and implementation of Go-To-Market activities
