General Description and Essential Functions

Manage and coordinate the marketing, delivery and support of community bank services including loans and other banking products. Responsible for the development and maintenance of midsized to large commercial loan portfolios, with the goal of providing maximum profitability with minimum risk. Must effectively communicate underwriting and credit decisions, and properly explain and document those decisions. Accountable for coordination of individual deposit development strategies that promote core deposit growth by attracting new business and building relationships with customers

  • Manage and oversee non-Retail personnel and operations necessary to effectively market, deliver and support broad-base community bank services. Lead non-Retail staff to achieve financial and risk goals, which includes meeting loan, deposit and income growth expectations.

  • Responsible for independently managing a portfolio of business clients and is accountable for net client growth, risk management effectiveness, customer service and profitability. Ability to identify loan, deposits and fee income.

  • Develop and manage midsized to large customer relationships to include all types of business banking and deposit products and services and maximize long-term customer satisfaction through aggressive cross-selling efforts to satisfy customers' financial needs.

  • Conduct interviews with customers to establish financial needs emphasizing financial counseling and lending, and process requests or will make appropriate referrals. Analyze credit and financial information for customers. Demonstrate sound judgment in decision making, abiding appropriately to established guidelines and procedures. Has the authority to approve or deny accounts. Lender is responsible at all times for the maintenance of the portfolio's credit quality. This includes the proactive, early identification of deteriorating credits and the ongoing management of problem loans that remain in the portfolio

  • Ensure appropriate risk management and credit quality is meeting expectations with the assigned markets.

  • Provide a detailed performance report to senior management and the Board of Directors on a monthly basis.

  • Actively manage talent to develop staff, recruit candidates and maintain appropriate staffing levels.

  • Responsible for oversight of Great Western Bank non-Retail personnel in the designated market area in meeting all applicable bank policies and procedures along with compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Respond to and resolve customer service requests according to Great Western policies in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner at all times.

  • May manage multiple locations.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting or related area, or equivalent experience required.

  • 10 or more years of lending, banking or financial services experience preferred.

  • Proven leadership abilities shown in previous positions.

  • Knowledge of all bank products and services including mortgage, cash management, commercial and retail.

  • Ability to build strong working relationships within the organization and develop professional relationships with customers and business associations.

  • Good understanding of bank and office operations with a strong aptitude in computer applications.

  • Effectively utilize and manage time to accomplish goals and objectives on a consistent basis.

  • Ability to use effective communication skills both verbally and in writing. Using appropriate form and style to express ideas in a clear, through, and concise manner. Ability to actively listen to others.

Job Expectations

  • Actively participate in community organizations and activities to project and sustain a favorable bank image in the community.

  • Register and obtain a unique identifier number from the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System as a Mortgage Loan Originator as well as keep the license in force by submitting updates when personal information changes and to complete the annual renewal of the license.

  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions * Manages and supports projects related to producing and/or directing full-length or short form programs of compelling live content including news, high school, college, or professional sports, or other major local shows. * Outlines scope of work, ensures programs meet CLO guidelines and coordinates with marketing and program/production teams for successful delivery. * Monitors regional budgets and maintains standards of excellence in final program quality. * Collaborates with others to ensure schedules, content, and quality expectations are met. * Requests and coordinates resources to complete projects, meet franchise requirements, or sales contracts. * Supports procedures to effectively monitor program content, quality, and production. * Cultivates positive relationships with clients and other departments and develops joint promotional and advertising efforts where practical. * Achieves product and marketing plan milestones with effective project management skills including program metrics, analysis and reporting to continually improve process. * Contributes to the development, promotion, and maintenance of brand image at regional level. * Supports marketing communication programs and projects to increase awareness of and effectively promote CLO internally and externally. * Leads project activities to ensure on-time delivery and within established budget. * May develop and initiate content related projects and project manages that process. * May be responsible for negotiating regional rights agreements and other regional production related contractual obligations. Minimum * 7 or more years of experience required in related field * 5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree * Requires strong knowledge of television and spot production, project management, rights agreements and promotions; MS Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook * Excellent organization, project management, interpersonal, relationship management, leadership, negotiation, written, verbal, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization as well as external contacts Preferred * BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired * 3 or more years of experience in a management role preferred * Experience in telecommunications industry desired Cox Enterprises Wichita KS
