Prepare for a high-energy, team-oriented environment This position starts at $17/hour - $21.75/hour, depending on experience. DUTIES As an Assistant Specialty Cheese Manager some of your responsibilities will include: Assist in purchasing, merchandising & expense control Assisting customers in selection and recommendations Keeping current and continually expanding knowledge of cheese Conduct events Organizing, stocking and facing of the department Monthly & Quarterly inventory Checking in deliveries/ logging of all invoices daily Enforce company policy & procedures General cleaning and maintenance of sales area QUALIFICATIONS Candidates will have an extensive knowledge of a wide variety of hand crafted and artisan cheeses from around the world, superior customer service skills and a strong sales ability including suggestive selling techniques.
