The Market Manager is responsible for loan and deposit business development, managing a portfolio of banking relationships, sales and service management and overall management of a banking team. As a member of the Bank's management team, the Market Manager is instrumental in executing deposit & loan growth strategy and ensuring client and associate satisfaction.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage and execute loan and deposit growth strategy through effective lead generation, banking office assignments of prospects and cross sales opportunities.
Meet personal Loan and Deposit Monthly goals.
Development of new relationships for the bank and cross selling to existing clients.
Retention of existing clients through value added and exceptional customer service.
Consult and advise clients on products and services that fit their needs and business.
Negotiate the terms of credit agreements.
Develop and mentor banking office associates ensuring they are adequately trained, understand their responsibilities and are aware of skills required to assume additional job responsibilities.
Manage office staff including banking office staffing, workflow, compliance guidelines, and new account opening process and ensuring all required documentation is received.
Strong sales and sales management skills with proven track record in driving results.
Strong credit and lending skills.
Excellent understanding of depository and other bank products with ability to match product to customer requirements.
Strong analytical and financial skills.
Strong managerial skills including sales coaching and development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years banking experience including management and commercial lending.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
