Amazon is looking for a talented, customer-focused lead to conduct market research on senior specialized talent and industry trends across AI, Machine Learning, UX Design, and more. This is a central role supporting Amazon teams globally.

The ideal candidate will be analytical and possess a strong passion for developing insights, scoping analysis plans, and providing critical information that drives a dynamic and fast-growing business. To accomplish this, you will have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, write effectively and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. You will also have excellent business acumen and communication skills in order to be able to work with business leaders to develop and define key business questions, work with teams to set up the right data structure and collect information, and design the analysis model that answers these questions.

You will be responsible for managing a variety of talent-related research projects which range from researching individual candidates to analyzing macro market trends. Analysis projects include, but are not limited to: gathering competitive intelligence, writing domain white papers, conducting geographic deep dives, developing top prospect lists, conducting conference research, reporting on internal metrics, developing event and speaker series lists, managing CRM database efforts, and identifying opportunities for automation.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead special research projects/recruiting initiatives

  • Guide a global talent mapping strategy and direction

  • Conduct primary and secondary research leveraging various specialized research techniques

  • Maintain scrutiny upon marketplace trends and competitive opportunities

  • Partner with Market Intelligence Recruiters to build effective passive candidate sourcing strategies

  • Manage expectations by articulating in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process

  • Display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner

  • Prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner and deliver results in a fast paced environment

  • Perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload

  • Work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction; take action when answers to a problem are not readily apparent

  • Develop creative analytical solutions which leverage advanced methodologies such as machine learning, NLP, and related techniques

  • Directly manage a team of Analysts with a focus on delivering against goals and facilitating team member career development

This position will lead the selection and implementation of third party IT solutions for EHS teams across Facebook Consumer Hardware. Systems will aid in compliance tracking, incident investigation and corrective action, chemical management and reporting, and inspections, as examples. The ideal candidate will have experience with environmental, health and safety metrics, implementation and integration of third party software into corporate systems. This role will be integral in developing scalable solutions to aid in streamlining EHS activities ranging from chemical management to compliance tracking. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES * Standardize/streamline approaches to EHS information delivery, seeking ways to improve utilization and adoption. Collaborate with business partners to ensure key stakeholder EHS information management needs are considered and met. Create data visualizations that are responsive to needs, engaging and support decision-making. Stay abreast of latest technologies and trends in data management. Respond nimbly to data requests but build organizational capabilities and user-friendly self-service tools in parallel. Lead and coordinate activities for a team of internal vendors, external consultants and software vendors. Build scalable solutions to aid in measurement of EHS activities including but not limited to risk assessment, monitoring data. Integrate third party software with in-house data streams. Ensure IT software meets or exceeds company information security requirements. Develop and implement roll-out strategy globally. Ability to travel approximately 30%.
