The Market Intelligence Analyst will provide market and competitor data, analysis and insight to provide business leaders with a sound basis for strategic and tactical decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and triangulating market data from external sources, and collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Global Product Managers and local Marketing Managers, to provide an annual update to Smiths Medical's Global Market Map, which provides the business with a consistent view of market size, share and growth of our product segments

  • Tracking and analysis of competitor intelligence, to inform the business of our competitors' performance and strategies

  • Conducting occasional primary market research interviews with industry experts to provide insight to help drive business growth

  • Assisting with strategic projects, ad hoc intelligence requests and corporate business reviews by providing market and competitive data and insightful analysis

  • This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).

  • Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in related field

  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in an intelligence or analyst role preferred - recent grad with advanced degree or MBA

  • High numerical reasoning required

  • Proficiency in excel and PowerPoint required

  • Knowledge of the US healthcare industry - preferred

  • Experience of market size modelling - preferred not required

About the Role We are seeking a passionate Competitive Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team of CI professionals at CrowdStrike. In this role you will be responsible for gathering, analysing and presenting intelligence on CrowdStrike's main competitors and to explain how we position our solution and compete more effectively in the market. You will serve as the expert on competitive intelligence and be the go-to-source for our sales and marketing teams arming them with insights on how to outmaneuver our competition. You should be a self-starter and comfortable working in a fast paced environment on multiple projects. The position is ideally based in Minneapolis, MN, Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA though other locations will be considered.
